This vehicle primer spray immediately started acting as a bonding agent, ensuring that the paint adheres properly to my car's surface, preventing peeling, flaking, and rust by creating a smooth base for the topcoat, ultimately making the paint job last longer and look better; essentially, it provides a strong foundation for the paint to adhere to, especially on bare metal or previously painted areas.

U-Pol while a brand most of us have not heard of is well known and has a lengthy history in Europe. The product is exceptional and works as listed but distinguishes itself as being a better solution to priming and filing needs. When I can I use their products because I feel like I am getting a superior product that performs better then well known names. U-POL really distinguishes itself in automotive circles and really works even at the extremes of listed temperatures and application suggestions

U-POL Filler Primer is a decent product with some caveats. I was initially impressed with its coverage and ease of use. It sprays on smoothly and fills minor imperfections effectively. However, I ran into a significant issue when applying it over body filler (Bondo).Despite properly sanding and prepping the Bondo, the primer reacted negatively, creating an undesirable cracked effect. This was a major setback in my project, requiring additional sanding and reapplication of the filler.It's possible that this reaction was due to a specific incompatibility with the type of Bondo I used, or perhaps an error in my prep process. However, I've used other primers over Bondo without encountering this problem, which leads me to believe the U-POL primer might be a bit more sensitive.On the positive side, when applied to bare metal or existing paint, the primer performed well. It provided good adhesion and a smooth surface for subsequent paint layers. The anti-rust properties are also a plus, offering added protection for the vehicle.Overall, I'm giving this U-POL Filler Primer 3 stars. It offers good coverage and ease of use, but its potential incompatibility with certain body fillers is a significant drawback. If you're using this primer over Bondo, proceed with caution and consider testing it on a small area first.

Thid is a good quality sandable primer paint. It works well and offers plenty of coverage. It applies smoothly and dries fast.

Good coverage and filling properties. Does what it says. The primes isn't extremely thick but minor blemishes maybe up to 1/32 it will fill. Maybe a bit bigger. I used it to fill some light rust pocks on metal after I sand blasted it. The primer dries to the touch quickly and leaves a nice surface to paint.No issues works as intended. I think this is a solid company with a great line of products.

This spray primer worked just as well (maybe even better) than the expensive "name-brands" that I have used in the past. I recently used this primer on an aluminum restoration job that I just completed. I had an old aluminum screen room on my back porch that was so corroded, that I had to "Bondo" the surface and re-paint it. I used this primer before the final coat of gloss white.. The primer worked very well as it applied and sprayed smoothly with no runs, filled all the little holes and imperfections before applying the final coat of paint. Saved me a bunch of money over re-building the screen room. Looks like brand new!

I've used other U-POL products in the past (primarily Raptor liner) and I feel it's a brand name that can be trusted. This filler primer seems to adhere well and sands out nicely in the small test area I sprayed. It's too soon to tell if the anti-rust technology works. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star item is the spray pattern - it is very narrow, like not much more than a quarter size when holding the nozzle about 8-10 inches from the surface. It was so small that I looked to see if there was any adjustability built in to the spray nozzle but it looked like a fixed piece. Probably fine for small items or touch up areas, but not something I'd want to deal with on a larger project.
