First of all this package arrived with a broken box. After reading the instructions it states to clean the surface of the knobs with the wet wipes (part of the cleaning assist kit) and then drying it with the lens-cleaning-like cloth which they label as a dust absorber. Then applying the primer wipe (it’s like a wet wipe but smells like gasoline). The wipe ended up stripping the black off the plastic surrounds (see photo of the wipe with black stains). This step should be completely omitted and the primer wipe should not even be included. I had to use some Armour All to reshine the plastic back to dark black (instead of a faded black from the color being stripped away). Then final step is to peel off the adhesive innards and push in the switch caps. Simple install but horrible instructions that almost destroyed the plastic housing around the window switches. I would have gave this 5 stars if the packages was not damaged and the instructions didn’t include a step that stripped the black coating off plastic. If you buy this, please skip that step for the primer wipe and you will be fine.

When I got my Jeep Wrangler, the top two window switches were worn nearly off. They use a rubbery coating on the switches. I had to get that stuff off of the switches so it wouldn't peel off my new covers. The back window switches were just fine.After removing the stock rubber on the top switches, I peeled the tabs off the switch covers and pushed them into place and held them there for only a moment. Just line up the slot on the cover with the line already on the window switch and push. So simple, and it's a nice easy upgrade for your jeep! They're not cheap plastic either. They're solid. I expect they'll last as long as the jeep does.

These are a fun accessory to add color to your dash! The window buttons are black so adding these adds a pop of color and makes them more visible. They are easy to install. I've only had on for one day, so I'll update if they don't hold up well. So far they look great!
