Finally this Lupar Upgraded Wheel Alignment Tool with Connection Sheet, Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Toe Alignment Tool Plates for Car, Truck, SUV, tool exists for folks to do their own alignments. For years I have struggled with having unaligned front ends and in some cases they were badly misaligned. Now using this Lupar tool I can bolt this onto my rotors of whatever car that I'm working on and with two measuring tapes (sold separately) I can align my front end. I've used this only a couple times so far, but overall it has really helped me to save money! I'd recommend them!

These work as described and seem well made. It won't get your car perfect, but is a good start point till you can get it to a shop.

The quality of the parts are good, sturdy and nicely finished! However, I've just tested the kit and the measurement isn't accurate at all! Based on its measurements, my vehicle would have a 1.4 degree total Toe OUT when in fact, according to a recent alignment check at my trusted shop, it should be a total Toe IN within spec. I couldn't believe this complete inaccuracy and did double-check my setup and measurements to make sure it was indeed indicating a Toe Out.While I had hoped this would be a rough estimate for wheel Toe alignment, it didn't turn out to be the case. I think the whole idea of the kit (not just this product but all similar products as well) is flawed. Because multiple parts are involved to attach the kit to the hub bolts, which are very close to each other, any imperfection of these parts will have a huge impact on the final measurement.

I got this to do an alignment on my Chevy impala, I was rotating the tires when I noticed a lot of wear on the outside of the front tires. It was off about an inch. It’s easy to set up and use. Worth it after one use. I also have the camber tool to complete the job. Saves tire life and gives you a nice ride. I found out that you can get the factory specs on the internet.

The problem with this kit is it only addresses the toe, not the camber, and you can only do it off the ground with the tires off the car, but the toe can change somewhat depending on your suspension when your tires are on and the car is on the ground. I think a better design would allow you to measure and adjust with the car on the ground.

These alignment plates have a little bit more flexibility than I'd like to see but can get you a lot closer than just counting threads or measuring tire center to center on the tread. I would suggest securing the vehicle on a set of 4 jack stands each supporting the suspension as close to where the wheel would as possible without being in the way. Make sure your work surface is level before jacking and do your best to level the vehicle before making adjustments. If possible, have someone hold the wheel straight when making adjustments or find a way to secure it and keep it level. You will still need to go to a shop to get a final alignment, but this will get you close enough to not need a tow truck or trailer to get your vehicle there.
