I bought the Tesla Model 3 sunroof. The product came broken. This is probably the BIGGEST GARBAGE product I’ve ever bought on Amazon! The description says it’s for a Tesla Model Y with Model 3 pictures. There were no instructions and no way to know how to probably install this sunroof which could damage your car ceiling upholstery if you are not VERY careful. Also, on the add, it has Tesla front windshield window shades and I think the reason why that is, is so the good products reviews of the front window shades can be mixed in with the Tesla HORRIBLE sunroof cover they provide, there for improving this horrible product rate. This product from this seller is GARBAGE. DONT BUY.

I purchased this product for my 2021 Tesla Model 3. I received the product and there was no instruction manual on how to install it. I checked the listing page and there was no instruction video or instructions on there despite the description saying there was. I decided to message the seller to ask. The seller messaged me back saying there aren’t any instructions or tutorial videos. I decided to try and install it anyway and the product doesn’t even seem to fit my vehicle. The panels are too large and don’t work. This is a good idea of a product but I wouldn’t buy from this seller. I’ll try and find a similar product with better support.

Update: The sponge fixed the rattle. I cut to strips off of it and placed them in the tracks (not where the shade travels) and it totally fixed the rattles. I hope this is a good permanent solution. At least I know I can fix future rattles with a sponge!Update: this thing immediately started rattling as soon as I got on the road so now I'm going to have to figure out how to stop the rattles. I assume that's what the gray sponge that came with it is for although there were no directions so I'm just guessing. The shade seems to be a knock off of other products that are built better. No matter what anybody says this doesn't take just a few minutes to get it done and you will sweat when you do it.If I was to do it again I think I'd spend a little bit more money and get one from Hanshow or something like that.It took a little bit of doing, The first one I got had a stain on one of the panels so I had to request a new one. There are no instructions to install this. I watched a YouTube video to see how to do it but that version was in the reverse order of the way this one is installed so it took twice as long to get the front one installed. The panel that has two black tabs and two metal tabs goes in the front with the metal tabs facing the front. The one with two black tabs and two screw holes goes in the back with the bar being placed pretty close to where the rear defrost black blocks are on the glass. The fitment isn't perfect but it's passable. The one thing I really don't like is the bar that's used to hold the back of the rear one to the roof. I've seen on other kids that bar is black. The bar that shipped with mine was silver and is sure to catch all the glares from the sun and headlights and stuff like that. I plan to find a vinyl wrap for it and hope it fixes the problem. Worst case I'll have to uninstall the rear one and spray paint the bar black. I kind of wish I had done that or use shrink wrap on it prior to installing it.I haven't taken it for a drive to see if it's rattles or anything. I'll have to update my review if it does.Overall these panels took a lot of finessing to get them in the right position. You do have to kind of use the spudgers that come with these two lightly bend the corners to get it to look right and fit especially for the front. I would also take it easy opening and closing these as the mechanism seem fragile. The rear one covers part of the clothing hooks so you should deploy the hooks before installing the rear panel.

The Telsa tends to get hot with all glass roofs. This sunshade is fantastic. It looks sleek in the car and fits snugly. It looks like it is part of the car. It is not only stylish, but it keeps the car cooler. It was easy to install. This sunshade does not sag or droop. Fits my Telsa Model Y 2022 perfect. Provides great coverage and keeps the car cooler. My AC does not have to work harder. It blocks the heat extremely well. I like that it is easy to remove and fold up when not in use. A well-made and worth the purchase sunshade.

The installation process is simple and straightforward. Is is secure after I put most clips on. Additionally, the shade is highly functional as it effectively prevents heat from entering your Tesla. I hope it will settle in the future.

Excellent fit - can't believe I waited years to get this! Has light-colored side to reflect heat away in summer and black side to absorb heat in winter, plus nice velcro fastener to secure in place. Has storage case, but is pretty large when folded up so has to lay on floor of backseat area.
