If you are searching for one of the most Inaccurate Rain Gauges ever sold on the market look no further, you have just found it. I made the mistake of purchasing two of these at the same time. After three different rain falls, I found that both of these rain gauges are measuring approximately 1.6” for every 1.0” of actual rain fall. This is totally unacceptable and any manufacturing company that would allow a mistake like this to be sold to the general public has both, a total lack of a quality control department and a total lack of consumer concern. Now if you don’t care about accuracy then by all means buy two of these. One to nail to the garage wall as a reminder to never purchase anything this company produces again and one to give to that guy down the street you no longer care for.

This guage is clearly marked and easy to read. My husband especially enjoys keeping track of rainfall amounts and it looks good enough to put in the front yard.

Works fine, but if you decide to move it, don't twist. Easily readable from our kitchen window 12-15' away. I pulled it in for winter, though - single digit temps, water/ice, and glass tubes don't play nice together.

Large rain gauge that is easy to read. The markings are to 1/10th of an inch for good accuracy. The gauge can be hung on a fence, a post, or even set up in the lawn with the included holder. The acrylic gauge is large enough to accommodate a lot of rain. The blue background stripe makes it easy to read. A good gauge at a good price.
