I used this on a home made frame I made from pex tubing to go in my pool skimmer boxes. It keeps leaves and other debris from filling my pool skimmer baskets while the water flows freely below the waterline and floating debris to the filter pump. I tried aluminum mesh first, the chlorine rapidly destroyed that. Then I galvanized mesh/hardware cloth that soon deteriorated and rusted. So far this has held up and does the job.

I couldn’t find a gate for my deck opening and I wanted to keep my small pet safe. This was the perfect solution. It came with zip ties and was very easy to install.

Okay. So. I'm not using this for chickens. Or in the barnyard of any sort. I'm using it to sift leaves. Why? Because that's where some fun species of jumping spiders live and I like to photograph them. So I bought this roll of plastic mesh because I needed something that wouldn't get all nasty when it gets wet. Then I cut it to fit an old picture frame I had laying around and voila! Leaves stay in, jumping spiders fall through, mucho happy photographer! Don't judge, LOL.It's easy to cut, easy to staple, world great for what I bought it for. Fancy leaf sifting!
