PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION GUIDANCE

Remove items
First, remove all the partitions and items from the refrigerator.When disassembling, you can take pictures to keep samples. Easy to restore the original state

Remove the fan cover plate
Remove the cover plate that covers the fan. Expose the fan. Take care of the removed screws.

Replace the fan with a new one.
At this point, you can remove the damaged fan. Install a new fan at the same time.

Insert the plug
Insert the fan plug. Note that there are water droplets inside the refrigerator, please pay attention to the waterproof protection when inserting the plug

Restore the refrigerator partition

My fridge stopped maintaining a cool temperature and I noticed a buildup of ice at the bottom of the fridge section where the air from the freezer flows up into the fridge. Thanks to ChatGPT was able to diagnose that it was likely this fan. Ordered it and it showed up the next day (thanks Amazon for the speedy delivery), and it fixed the issue. Very grateful for a quick $25 fix!

This is not one of these fake reviews I read before buying this fan. Don't get me wrong it works as expected. Fridge is doing a good job at keeping the temperature well distributed.Now, at times, when running at "full speed", it is super loud. It is a high pitched, high speed motor loud.I order one and thought to myself, maybe I got a bad unit, so I asked for a replacement (same fan) intalled and... Same noise.If you need your fridge fixed asap, that's fine, but I'm trying to find a better fan and will likely return this one, it is not acceptable.Update: added one star because the company proactively reached out and offered a replacement and/or a refund. Given the noise, I'll take the refund, but as I said earlier, it is working and keeping the cold well distributed.

I used this on my GE that's probably 6 years old. Just make sure your SN is on the approved list! I am not having any problems with noise like I have seen some people say. It's only been a few days though but most importantly for me was to get my fridge working again without having to spend a lot of money.UPDATEThe noise has started and it's pretty loud. Sounded like a dog was growling and Barking inside my fridge! Not to thrilled about this.

Aunque en la imagen viene un ventilador de 7 aspas, me llego uno de 3 aspas, sin embargo al ser de las mismas valores de voltaje y amperaje, funciono correctamente, incluso las medidas son las adecuadas para el tipo de refrigerador que tengo. Al final llego antes de lo previsto y cumple con la funcion, tenia ya varios meses con mi refrigerador dañado y ahora esta trabajando adecuadamente

We had to buy two fans as the first went out after 2 months. The first was extremely loud, so most likely it had been possibly damaged in transit and we didn’t know. We were going to just deal with the intermittent noise as we were happy to not have to buy a new fridge. However it did go out after 2 months. The second fan we bought did look a bit different than the first and is quite! We have high hopes for this one!

This is the perfect replacement for our slightly older ge cafe fridge. This is fan only, so you have to be careful removing the old fan and reuse the rubber boot that fits around the fan. The wires on this fan were sticking out from a different spot so you just need to snip the rubber on your existing boot to accommodate the wires. Very easy. This fan fixed all of the problems that our fridge was having. No Ice, no water (it was frozen) freezer and lower fridge crisper was turning to ice. And the upper portion of yje fridge was warm. This fixed them all!!!

My GE fridge is just out of warranty and we started having problems with it not making ice. The top half of the fridge was warm and things in the three refrigerator drawers were freezing. I disassembled the area behind the drawers and found the fan unit. The motor was seized. I ordered this updated unit with more fan blades and it installed in seconds. Its a perfect fit for it's location and plugged right into the existing harness. Reassembled the fridge and we are back in business!

The fan dimensionally was accurate and the connecting plug was also accurate. The problem with the fan is it’s seven blades instead of the original three and the clearances between the fan blades on the upgrade and the fan housing are too tight and don’t allow for any potential ice buildup. After installation, I immediately noticed how much louder the fan was. On the second day, some ice had accumulated probably because the refrigerator had been open so much and a lot of moisture had made its way in during a repair and water droplets collected around the fan and then froze and were interfering with the fan blades creating an extremely loud noise. I verified this by immediately removing the fan and noticed a lining of ice on the inside of the fan housing where the blades were hitting. The original three bladed fan which is still available and I purchased off of Amazon is also made in Vietnam, whereas the upgraded fan was made in China , I suggest purchasing the original three bladed fan as it is still available and manufactured in Vietnam and you’ll have less headaches!
