Will they last forever...no, but they are pretty durable. They are very nice looking with the flickering flame light. They stay lit almost all night during the summertime and half the night during the shortest days of the year, depending on amount of sunshine. I have purchased many eight-packs of these, and I would estimate one or two of the eight quit working usually within a year which I think is pretty good all things considered for northern Illinois weather service.

Had these put out in the yard for a couple months (about 45 days in the backyard - indirect light for most of the day the rest was in the front yard), and they looked great! The flame pattern matched perfectly with the hard wired lights I had bought from another store. Bought another set and moved them all to the front yard for some extra yard lighting and the direct sunlight just beat the solar panel to heck. Within almost a week of being in direct sun my house sits in, the solar panels were all hazed over, the spikes kept tipping over and eventually broke in the ground (so I had to fish them out with pliers), and eventually they stopped working one by one. I know the South Carolina sun can be rough on things but I expected a little bit more quality on these for the previous reviews that they had. If you want something that looks nice for a very short while (like for a party or special event) these would be perfect for it but not something that you want to have last as a fixture in your landscaping.

I ordered 2 boxes of Upgraded Solar Lights Outdoor, 6 Pack Flickering Flame Solar Torch Lights from Amazon Seller - Shengyujie . In one of the boxes all 6 ground stakes were missing, I reported the problem and the seller got back to me that day, apologized, asked for my name and address and sent me the missing parts. I've bought lights from them before, and they are beautiful. I will definitely continue to buy lights from this company.

mentioned size is 3.1 inch of solar panel and it is 2 inch only . it’s a small size . wrong information in description.

There are very nice solar lights. I already have 2 sets and thought I was adding more of the same to them. Sadly, these are a bit smaller and have different sized poles than the ones I already have. I was able to make them work and they look nice.

These are just what I was looking for. They arrived in the morning and were lit up that same night. Very easy to set up. Looked great around my Halloween decor and after. Looks like a real flame.

lIKE? VERY pretty. Have them at entrance of my driveway.DISLIKE? 3 Have stopped working and believe if could replace battery that would solve problem, but unable to access a battery compartment. Torch is a solid one piece hard plastic......Since wrote the above, on Oct 14th a 4th torch quit lighting. Really need a way to replace the battery !! The torch is so pretty, but unhappy with durability. There should be a way to get replacements - maybe at a discounted price ???

three of the six lights stopped working after 3 days, and yes, they were charged appropriately prior to first use, and are in very well lit areas (>8 hours of day of light, and we havent had a cloud in the sky). i read some people have the same issue on the reviews, but hoped the best with the ‘upgraded’ ones. Hoping the seller does the right thing and sends me three replacements, because the lights really do glow beautifully at night. Will update rating if resolution.**I have upgraded this review from 2 to 5 stars, as the seller reached out promptly to resolve the issue with the nonworking lights. I understand sometimes things do not work as promised, and the actions of the seller to quickly replace the lights without return if I sent photo/video evidence was more than appropriate. Thank you.

Glad I purchased these. I looked at all of the other brands for sale (there are a lot) and I am happy with these. They look realistic and are bright enough to see from afar. The are decorative and not meant to be so bright to be able to read a book under for example, yet bright enough to add light around the deck railing like torches around the deck. I put ties around the plastic poles they came with and it fits my desired result nicely. I have had them for 9 months. During the winter with less daylight they did not always stay on all night long and on cloudy days they stayed on only for a few hours. Now it daylight longer and they are on and bright all night long other than days that are cloudy. There is an on/off push button switch if you want them to staff off. Follow the direction for first time set up which is easy and if they do not come on, put your hand or a towel over the top to make it dark, then push the button on/off to see which is on and which is off. Tip just in case you have an issue and think that they are not working. Recommend these.
