So far so good!šThe materials seem soft and of high quality. This brace differs from some others because the straps that pull your foot into the flexed position are longer and attach more securely. That was my major problem with the other braces. It occupies a little more room in my shoe, and Iād probably do best with a hybrid of the two types of braces I bought. However, this one does the job. This is the only foot drop item that has helped me walk without tripping. The expensive big total foot and leg hard brace doesnāt work as this item does. Certainly try this if you have foot drop as it is a reasonable price considering that the hard foot leg brace cost a few thousand dollars.

Ordered the L/ XL and it was not long enough for foot, W size 12. Sister had knee replacement surgery on leg with severe drop foot and I had to help her with getting her custom AFO/ shoe on to go to the bathroom in middle of the night during initial recovery. I ordered this to trial and allow her her Independence and safety as she lives alone. The only way it worked was by using both of the inserts, intended for offering additional support, to extend the āfootplateā to actually reach/ lift her forefoot. And even then it was not under the toes as in photos. I say it āworkedā but there was still a risk of toes catching > trip or falling, so the person would have to be careful/ focused on their walking technique. It allowed my sister to put on by herself and get to toilet in more timely manner, reduced dependency and anxiety with needing someone to help, ultimately resuming a healthy sense of normality/ independence. I would recommend this product but it may require adjusting/ finagling since it was not long enough for larger/ longer foot. Material was soft enough to possibly sleep with on, well made and durable. Did not try wearing with a shoe or slipper since it was used only during middle of the night, so no issues with Velcro wearing out, as I saw mentioned in other reviews. Worth the price, met our needs and goals!

This a great for people with foot drop, I suffered from a major stroke and walking inside the house on hard wood floor was little uncomfortable but with this brace itās quick to put on and even while laying on couch watching tv the brace keeps the foot upright position. And itās really comfortable to walk around the house with.

I have severe drop-foot (right-foot). I need a brace that can keep my foot from drooping downward when I walk. If I do not wear a brace, I catch the front of my foot on the smallest things and often trip. I have an old-school brace made of a type of plastic molded to my foot and calf. It reaches up to the top of my calf, is hard to wear all-day, and very noticeable when worn with shorts (summer time). I was hoping for a smaller, less obvious, brace that would support my foot as well. Unfortunately, this brace did not keep my foot at or near a 90-degree angle. I did not notice much help at all in supporting the foot that way.I returned the brace and was credited a refund with no issues from the seller. Thank you to them for that.JohnC

It's okay. How foot drop on my right leg, it helps a bit and is comfortable. For the price I'd recommend trying it out.

I purchased the foot strap because I had hip surgery and ended up with nerve damage in the foot resulting in a foot drop. Without the strap, I had a difficult time sleeping because it was uncomfortable and awkward. I tried sleeping with my custom AFO but itās made from hard, durable materials which serves me well during the day but quite the opposite for sleeping. The softness and structure of the strap allows me to move around freely in bed without any discomfort (unlike my AFO). The strap is very easy to apply, very light weight, adjustable, soft, washable and incredibly comfortable. I definitely prefer wearing the insert (optional) as well because it provides me with that little bit of extra stability. Iāve been wearing my foot strap device every night since Iāve purchased it. I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a comfortable and soft foot support especially for night time use or for relaxed lounging. I also love that itās heel-less. I developed a pressure ulcer on the back of my heel due to the drop foot shortly after surgery. The strap, being without a heel, prevents any pressure on my heel thus enabling my ulcer to heal up!! I highly recommend this product and wouldnāt hesitate to purchase it again.
