Does a good job at edging. Paint sometimes gets on the rollers which transfers to the ceiling, a common problem with this type of applicator.

This little edger is pretty cool. It's got 2 wheels along the top to help it smoothly glide along your ceiling. While the wheels glide smoothly, they're not nearly as useful on a textured ceiling. I tried this out on my stucco ceiling, and encountered a few challenges. The base, which is mean to screw into a painting pole/base, is too small to properly screw on to a standard sized pole. It did attach, but just barely, and it did stay on, but a lot of threading was still exposed. The pads themselves are very thin, and not very absorbant. It was hard to get enough paint into the pads for a long, clean stroke while also not getting too much into the pad, and getting it caught in the wheels. Unfortunately, I got quite a bit of extra paint on the apparatus, and the wheels themselves left streaks on my ceiling.I'm a pretty new painter, so I'm not pro; a lot of my issues were from my stucco ceiling, and user error. I probably used to much paint, which caused the overflow; it was hard to get the right amount into the pad. This did save a lot of time compared to traditional edging. Even though the wheels got paint on my ceiling, it was much less than I normally get on there from clumsiness, which makes it a lot easier to clean up too. While their are wheel marks, they're also far enough off the wall that covering them will be easy; the line with my ceiling is pretty clean cut. While I'm giving it 3 stars, I would consider buying this again. I would have liked it more if it fit on my extension pole better, or if the paint absorbed more evenly in the pads. That being said, it did leave relatively clean lines for a very difficult ceiling. The pricepoint is pretty fair, and with a slightly different build, this would be a perfect product. This isn't an end-all be-all solution for newbie painters, but it doe offer a lot of value. All in all, I think this is a good find

This works exactly as it should. I've used a lot of edger tools over the years, and this one works very well. It's great for doing trim and cutting corners. You can use it as a standalone or you can attach a standard extension pole to it. (Or mop/broom handle works, too) I really like these, and this one is no exception, it works very well.

One thing I hate about painting is the edging near the ceiling of the wall. But this tool has made that a non-issue for me! It’s so easy to use and always gives a perfect, clean finish when edging. No paint gets on the ceiling, and there’s no bleeding of paint either, which is a huge relief. The reinforced roller feels sturdy and glides smoothly along the edges. Cleaning it after use is simple, and it’s ready to go for the next project. It’s also user-friendly, even for someone like me who isn’t a pro at painting. This edger has made painting faster, easier, and a lot less stressful!

Paint is not my favorite task, especially near a textured ceiling! I purchased this tool to help me cut in freshly painted walls next to that ceiling, and I think I did alright!Watch the tutorial video shown in Amazon's product description to get a better idea.Key Points:*Don't overload the painting pad with paint! Apply paint sparingly, and maybe even give the side with the roller wheels a wipe with paper towel to remove excess, and help ensure neatness in yourwork.*Tip: I poured a bit of paint into a painting pan, and spread it around into a thin layer. Here I placed the edging tool flat on the painting pad surface to apply paint. This helped keep things neat! DON'T just dunk the tool in a bucket of paint, and expect a miracle.Work slowly, and you too will surprise yourself with how well you did!Clean up is easy afterward. Warm soapy water to clean the pad, and the roller wheels!Nice tool. Recommended!
