Works great. A fairly easy replacement if you are used to basic handyman work lime replacing a receptacle. I wouldn't say it is quiet though.

This 50CFM Fan, is Compatible with Nutone 696N(695) B ... the 40+ year old Bath Fan I've Replaced. It is compatible with many Nutone / Broan Bath Exhaust Fans. Refer to the Listing for more Model Numbers. Very Easy to Install ... took about 10 Minutes to remove the Old Fan/Motor and Replace with this one. Very Simple Installation: Pull down existing Plastic Ceiling Vent Cover and Remove Clips. Easy. One Screw Holds the Motor Assembly Bracket in Place. Unplug the Power Receptacle ... Simply Pull the Unit Out of the Bracket Housing. Reverse these steps to Re-Install. My 40+ year old vent Cover looked a bit 'Dingy' so I cleaned it and Sprayed a coat of White Paint/Primer on it. Upon ordering this product, I removed the Vent Cover and Painted it ... gave it several days to dry before re-Installing. Looks Brand New. This is a perfect fit / match for a Replacement Motor/Fan Assembly for the Nutone/Broan Model Numbers in the Listing. Quiet: As Advertised ... and Excellent Quality !

Despite verifying that this was supposed to be a direct replacement based on numbers on my mounting plate - it is not. The plate was a fraction too big and cut out for the power cord was off. I decided to transfer the fan to my old mounting plate. Next time I will buy the motor only.

This was a replacement for 30 year old Fan. Fan is loud, but runs smooth and works great.

My 25-year old C350 was starting to get loud and angry, so I ordered this to replace it. I noted that it was rated at 2 sones, which should be much quieter than the typical cheap 4 sone models. While it did install easily and work fine, it's actually a tad louder than the fan it replaced, which is surprising and really disappointing. It's not bad enough to replace it, but it did not meet my expectations based on the advertised sound rating.

Product arrived on time and in good condition. The old one was 27 years old and pretty noisy it just stopped working. I removed it, cleaned the housing out made sure I had power to the receptacle and ordered this unit. It came today and within a few minutes the new one was in and working. It’s very quiet. I didn’t have any issues with the vent cover not closing all the way.I would recommend this product.

Once I got the part numbers correct this was the perfect replacement part!Very simple to remove the old and slip in the new - took all of 5 minutes.

So this was a perfect fit for our 696ND-B fan. However, I can't give it 5 stars because they use a regular "lamp" plug which hangs down way to much and the fan cover didn't fit flush with ceiling. My husband bought a right angle ext cord and spliced the plug on so now it fits great. So if you can Jerry rig it this would work for you.
