This compact featherboard gets the job done for basic cuts, but don’t expect heavy-duty performance. The aluminum build feels sturdy, and the PU rollers help reduce workpiece kickback, but its smaller size limits stability with wider stock. Adjusting height is simple, though it lacks the heft of full-size models for serious ripping. Fine for occasional use or thin boards, but pros might want something beefier.

With the roller unit seated in the table-saw miter-slots and fully extend toward the saw blade, there is a 1 1/4" gap between the blade and the ends of the rollers. In other words the unit is 1 1/4" too short. Edge jointing, where the board is skimmed, is NOT possible.

This Bearing Roller Featherboard, works, and need to be carefully adjusted to the thickness of the wood.the springs (even in the lowest pressure) are too hard, and if not adjusted, it is hard to push the (wood) board through.the overall size is small (smaller than any featherboard I ever had). They work on my router table bridge, but too short for the table saw.I do not like the miter inserts that come with the unit, the screw provided can damage the channel, as you tighten the knob.it is a nice tool well made, I wish that it was longer similar to regular featherboard.out of the box it came with all the screws that hold the red piece half way in (loose).3 stars because of the size, the miter slot inserts, and too hard springs that hols the rollers down.
