The pump works really well. My brakes feel a lot smoother now. Before they were a bit stiff and didn’t respond as quickly as I wanted. After installing the new pump I noticed a big difference. The braking is more responsive and I feel a lot safer driving my car. I was very pleased that the pump fits perfectly. I didn’t have to make any adjustments or worry about it not matching my car. The whole process was a lot less stressful seeing it fit in exactly. The quality seems good too. It feels sturdy and I’m confident it will last a long time. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I haven’t had any issues at all. This one of those parts you don't want to mess around with using low quality parts because it can have a direct impact on safety but this seems to pass all the tests with flying colors. Install is not too bad if you prefer to do the work yourself and for this price you can usually only get a used part so a brand new pump means you will get much more mileage out of the part for your money.

This review is for Brake Booster Vacuum Pump- Compatible with Cadillac, Chevrolet Swift, Pontiac, Saturn-CTS, STS, Camaro, Caprice, HHR, Solstice, Sky - replaces 20804130, 20939309, 31317530, UP28This is a nicely built direct replacement for brake booster vacuum pumps on various vehicles. I makes about 25" of vacuum and can evacuate an accumulator fairly quickly. It comes with the appropriate electrical connector on about 7" of 16 Ga wire. It pulls 8.9A at 13.8V when in operation. It is fairly quiet when running. The mount is intended to isolate vibration which should make it undetectable when in operation. My use for this was to replace a mechanical vacuum pump on a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 5.9L Cummins Diesel and a Jacobs Exhaust Brake. The mechanical pump is unreliable and this seemed like a good replacement. I am wiring it to come on when the exhaust braking is called for by the ECM and not have it run continuously to hold a vacuum. I will need to use a relay to handle the 8.9A of current, wired in place of the electrically operated vacuum solenoid used in the original implementation.Looks like a great pump that will give good service. Will update this review when I have done more testing. This could be a great solution for not just a OEM replacement for the vehicles listed by the seller, but also for uses like Jacobs Exhaust brakes.
