It's very well built, sturdy and fits perfectly in place. I'm happy I purchased this.

The parts were all packed great without any scratches or damage. It is built very sturdy and fit my boat trailer without any trouble. I put it on a 1993 Javelin bass boat trailer. I purchased the one without the winch and used my old one, as you can see in the pictures my winch is quite rusty. I should have purchased one with a newwinch.

I wanted to add a winch to my utility trailer for loading lawn mowers etc., so I thought I would give this a try. Excellent choice. This winch stand is well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are excellent. I had to add a piece of box beam to my trailer to be able to mount it, but that's an issue to do with my trailer. I mounted a boat winch on it, and it works very well. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

I didn't purchase this for a boat or boat trailer, but rather for a small utility trailer, so I could winch up heavy objects etc. Installation went okay at first, but then I realized I needed to adjust its position to accommodate the fold-down front wall of the trailer. What I anticipated would be a simple task—loosening the nuts to slide the assembly down the tongue—turned into a nightmare. One of the nuts seized onto the bolt, which was baffling since they appeared to be high-quality, possibly even stainless steel. This issue occurred with one of the four mounting bolts. There's also a single bolt that goes sideways, securing the top part of the assembly to the bottom, and that one seized as well.In the pictures I've attached, you can see how bent the bolt became during my attempts to loosen a nut that had gone so far down the bolt it was clearly not a threading issue. I'm still not sure how this could happen, but it was incredibly frustrating. I ended up having to cut the bolt off with an angle grinder, fortunately having another one that was close enough in size to replace it.The construction of this product seems solid and heavy-duty, but I was genuinely surprised by the issues with the nuts and bolts. Perhaps applying a little grease to them could prevent such problems.

This adjustable boat trailer winch stand with towing winch arrived intact and in new condition, but inadequately packaged. Upon arrival, I noted several points where the contents had penetrated through the side, resulting in advanced degradation of the material containing the product, and subsequent failure to maintain containment of the product within. The instructions appear amateurly produced, though adequate for installation and use. The winch and mount itself appear well built. The welds appear to have been performed by a precision instrument as they are clean and consistent. The ratchet works as expected. The guide roller is plastic, but appears suitable for its intended use.. Overall, the item seems to be good, but the packaging needs beefing up.

Good solid frame and welds look good. The bulk of this is heavy gauge steel. The gauge is thinner metal where the roller fits in. Adjustable and solid
