This is a nice little yarn winder for the price. Unfortunately I cannot secure it to the table I wanted to use, so I had to use my dad's tray table. It worked well there, but I will need to find an alternative place to wind yarn!I am hoping to do more rug tufting after taking a class last winter. One of the items I will need is a yarn winder. This one will do exactly what I need it to do as I don't need huge balls of wound yarn for my projects.Instructions in the package were helpful other than the "shake the handle" to start winding in step 6. I think they mean "turn" the handle.Some of the tester yarn included in the package got tangled while winding, but I was able to fix it. I don't have thicker yarn to try, but will update if I run into any issues when I use thicker yarn.For someone who won't need to wind yarn in mass quantities on a regular basis, this yarn winder will work.

Only worked about 20 skiens before it broke, it was easy to use but definitely should have been able to get a lot more use out of it
