I only needed the sending unit to replace the broken one on my boat. It works as it should. Install was straight forward. Fit and finish of the sending unit were just fine.

Does not come with all the items pictured. Only came with speed sensor and hose. No mounting hardware as pictured. Will have to buy my own mounting hardware.Would not recommend purchase.

I have not had a chance to run the boat since install so i am unable to speak of functionality just yet an i will try to remember to update this review when i do. However i am able to speak of build quality and it seems to be much lower quality that my original equipment which is over 20 years old im not quite sure how it gave out but the barb where the hose attaches broke off on one of mine and i ordered these for a quick fix. Unfortunately quick was not a part of this fix partialy because of these not having the same hole pattern of the OE equipment so i had to drll new holse which i really wasnt keen on as well as fill the old holes. Partially because of how they hook up on my boat for which the back seats gotta come out and i also decided to pull my tank for ease of instalation however im sure every boat is different and even on mine it was probably possable without pulling the tank but it would have been alot harder to route the new line. So as far as for ease of use i wouldnt recomend installing yourself if youre not very mechanically inclined. As far as the value for the money goes, if i were to do this again, which im sure i will have to in the not so distant future i would spend a few mpre dollars and get something much better. Though im sure they will do their job and work in a pinch, im not too optimistic about how long they will last as they seem to be pretty cheaply made and will likely grow very brittle in a short time here in CA. If you really want your speedo to work and are on a budget these will work just be prepaired for a bit of work, however if you want them to last, save a little more money and get some better quality ones.

The little hole would get clogged within 10 minutes of being on the water near seaweed.

This was a perfect replacement for my damaged speedometer. My original unit had the nipple break off in the hose. I didn’t need to replace the tubing, just the speedometer and mount. Everything is working good now.
