I bought two of these poufs, they complete the sitting area in my living room and blend very well with my existing furniture. I bought the ivory color.

This pouf is made of faux leather, we made the best use of it by putting our kids all unused soft toys and it came out to shape very well. We put it in our sunroom and it elevates the space and very catchy. The sturdiness depends on how much you stuff, the color is bright and shiny. There are 2 zippers, one on the inside and the other one on the outside. The quality is pretty good, our kids have been jumping and using them rough. It's holding up quite well.

The contemporary design coordinates well with both modern and traditional decor, as shown by its styling with the chunky knit throw and transitional furniture. The cube shape and firm stuffing provide stable seating or footrest support. Construction quality is excellent - sturdy seams, even stitching. Highly recommend for its quality craftsmanship and versatile style.

I was super excited to get this Moroccan pouf footstool because I have a lot of old torn clothing that I wanted to repurpose instead of throwing out because they are not good enough to donate. The design of the pouf is your basic Moroccan round pouf one sees out in AMAZON or any place that sells them. The type of faux leather chosen though, leaves a lot to be desired. It looks like plastic; it feels like plastic and once I filled the pouf (and not all the way) I went to turn it over to see how it looked, and the main zipper attached to close up the pouf itself came apart and I was very concerned that I could not fix it. I had to walk away from it so I would not make it worse.I came back the next day to see if I could figure out how to fix the zipper, so I just tried what I thought I could do which terrified me that I would make it worse but at that point it didn't matter because if the pouf was no good anymore, I could not make it any worse. So, I did what I thought would fix it and thankfully it did fix it enough for me to get the handle of the zipper to go back down to the starting point of the zipper and was able to somehow align it so that I could zip it back up, which I did, but didn't get to fill the pouf as much as I could have because I am afraid that it will split again and I won't be able to fix it once more. Therefore, for me this pouf is a HUGE bust and would not recommend it.

I've thought about getting a pouf style footrest for a while and liked the look of this one. As far as faux leather goes this is pretty nice, it's a great color and is pliably soft but thick enough that it doesn't feel like it will rip easily. I'm not usually into gold trim but the gold is subtle enough that it's not too in your face, it goes nicely with the color of the pouf. It's bigger than I expected, but that's on me. It's 20" across just as it says, I just pictured it smaller in my mind. It's a little more than the 12" tall that's stated in the listing but I'm actually glad about that, I'd say probably 14" so it's not a huge difference and honestly I think if it was 12" it might be too short for what I wanted. It might also depend on what you stuff it with.As far as stuffing, this thing can hold a lot! If you're planning to use it for blanket (etc.) storage you'll be able to get plenty of them in there! I've stuffed it with memory foam filler and have still not reached true fullness. Since I've never filled one before I ordered 4.5 lbs of stuffing to start with. Once the pouf arrived I realized that wouldn't be enough so I ordered another 3 lbs. That got it to the point it looks mostly full when it's just sitting there, not much sagging, but because it's memory foam the minute I put my feet on it the top sinks down so it's about half the size. I'm going to order more and I'll update this when I've figured out the right amount. Basically be prepared to get a LOT of filler, though memory foam is pretty squishy so what you use might make a difference. Btw the picture with the indented middle is after my feet squished down the memory foam filler.(update: I added 4 more lbs of memory foam and I’m done. It holds my feet well with a little squish but stays firm enough. I could probably fit 1 more lb in there if I wanted)Even with it not quite full it's still nice to put my feet on. It feels good under my heels and legs and is wide enough that I don't feel like my feet are at risk of falling off. I think once I get the right amount of filler in there it's going to be a great pouf. (update: it is!)

This pouf is made of decent material—definitely not leather, as advertised, but it doesn’t quite replicate the look of leather either. That’s fine with me, though. The stitching on the bag itself feels sturdy, but there were a few loose threads on the embroidery on top that needed trimming to tidy it up. It’s not as classy or natural-looking as I’d hoped, but overall, it’s a decent piece that works well in a cozy, boho-style room. The zipper on the bottom seems well made and sturdy. The real challenge is stuffing it! This pouf takes a lot to fill it enough to avoid that saggy look. I ended up using two old, misshaped pillows, a two throw blankets, a king-sized comforter, and still had room for more. I can see it's use as storage for extra blankets and such, but it's not very convenient as it takes some real elbow grease to get everything shoved in there. The sturdiness and usability as a ottoman or seat completely depends on what and how much you stuff it with.If you’re up for a little DIY project and have plenty of stuff to fill it with, this pouf is a functional and stylish addition to any boho-inspired space. I decided to put it in my meditation room.

This does not look anything like real leather. It is fun and the stitching is solid. It is significantly larger than I was expecting and will make a great footstool for my reading chair.
