The product is very effective. This is a must-have product for your furry pet. Just like humans get dry skin especially during the winter season, animals can have the same problem. It helped our bird (cockatiel) with its feathers and dry skin. I wish I had taken a picture of my bird before using the spray to show the difference. Before using the spray, our bird was looking sickly. What a difference the spray makes. I was concerned about what I could use on the bird without the bird getting sick from ingesting. No problem with this product, because aloe vera is safe for humans as well as pets to ingest. Thank you for making a product that is non-toxic. The price and size are comparable. PLEASED, AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

I have a seven-year old cockatiel, Pablo, and he has always enjoyed his “bath time,” which is just adding fresh water to a spray bottle and spraying him down but lately he has been missing feathers so I needed something more. Second day of using and my bird came right over to me and swung on his swing with both wings up to really let me get him good. I do this until he his completely saturated and after he is done drying his feathers looked nice and clean and puffed up like he just got a blowout. Only time will tell if it helps his feathers grow back but it provides my bird comfort and that’s most important in the meantime.

When I don’t give him a bath in the bathtub, I use this spray to rejuvenate and hydrate his skin and his feathers. It works amazing and he likes it doesn’t irritate him. I’m very impressed with the product.

My avian vet thought WhoDat’s feather loss was from stress. I couldn’t find a reason for him to be stressed, so I began monitoring him closely. I never saw him upset, but DID notice besides scratching underneath his wings & inside of his legs that’s where his skin would be hottest & most likely be an area easily irritated. THEN I noticed he was “CLAWING HIS HEAD” WITH HIS FEET ripping out feathers! DOESN’T THIS SOUND LIKE A SKIN PROBLEM TO Y0U? —Pics of feather plucking birds I’ve seen online show feather loss NOT on the bird’s HEAD, tho I’ve not seen them all). Therefore, “I” have deduced his feather loss to be a SKIN problem, tho I’m no dr. I’m spraying him TWICE a day RIGHT NOW to prevent him from itching, Been using it a few weeks & he’s not clawed his head again even once! I don’t see him doing anything but preening now, I will admit I DO see maybe one feather every other day or 3 on the floor. Prior to me using this spray he had nearly snatched himself bald on his chest, inside of legs & wings & neck & a few other sparse random places. * I’m sprinkling UnRuffled Calm powder on his food (same company) just in case the dr was correct & it IS stress & UnRuffled Feather powder on fresh fruits & veggies which has multi-vitamins IN CASE IT’S PARTIALLY HIS DIET,BUT—-> he’s not losing feathers & scratching anymore SOLELY because of this aloe Vera spray. (For those of you upset & trying to do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to help your bird, I’m also humidifying his sleeping area & cage area, tho he’s usually on my shoulder (or head as in 2nd pic). All my other sun conures had outdoor cages & I live in the Deep South where humidity is high. WhoDat lives & flies only inside tho I do take him on one walk a day with my dog, he’s not been exposed to enough humidity I’ve concluded, which is why this spray is working). I HIGHLY recommend you try this, esp if you see your bird scratching feathers from his head, which to ME, HAS to be skin irritation. ***I’ve even used it on my DOG’S skin where he itches because of gras’s allergy, assured IF IT’S SAFE FOR A BIRD, I KNOW IT’S SAFE FOR MY DOG if he ingests it by licking the spots that itch later. My dog’s skin has mostly cleared up & parts not cured yet are much less red—-& he’s only been sprayed a few times.

It's a nice spray for my birds but you get so little for the price. I like the fine mist. For the money tho I'd expect at least twice as much.

I bought this spray after noticing that my cockatiel had started plucking a tiny patch on his chest. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I have already seen improvements on that spot and that some feathers are starting to regrow. He does not seem to mind being sprayed. So far I have been very happy with this product!

Expensive!! The sprayer doesn’t always spray. I bought this for African Grey to keep her skin fresh.
