This shade holder is actually perfect for what I need, but I can understand the confusion people might be having if they've ordered it thinking it would have threads to screw onto the socket. This version does not. It is similar to other UNO-type holders in every other way, however, and comes with three screws for securing to a fixture. It is sturdy and looks very nice.
