WELL Well. This is a nice black heavy duty presser. I call it a presser because in the past I used it for almost everything even my clothes (JUST Kidding). But with this last house move it got lost. Anyway, just a reminder you DONT have to press very hard. I’m using it. Buy it!

Easy to use even though it takes some adjustments to figure out the perfect quantity of masa to roll and press but it is exactly what I wanted. Would recommend.

It took 5 days to deliver even though it sells as next day delivery with Prime. When it arrived it was inside an Amazon box because the original packaging was destroyed. It is a very heavy item because of the quality of cast iron.

I have already have used it for scallion pancakes, taco’s, tortilla’s and for pressing dough for small tartelets. Works perfectly with the small baking papers or silicon sheet (not provided).

I really liked learning to make my own tacos with this press. It’s a quality bit of traditional style cast iron kit. Comes with a reasonable supply of paper discs too. Another thing to store - and it’s quite heavy, so you wouldn’t want to damage something else while you move it in or out of your cupboard. It’s not big but you do need a bit of space somewhere directly on a shelf - not on top of something else.

It's a simple device, right? Three pieces of iron: 2 plates and one handle. If you look at the picture, they show the plates forming a hinge that is held by a long screw with a wingnut on the end. The handle has the same setup, just shorter. My Unocasa (why its not Unacasa, I'll never get) came with three screws and wingnuts. All are sized for the handle. The hinge has an unsecured cotter pin through it. It's hollow and inside-threaded to receive a screw to secure it in place. No such screw came with the item. More bizarrely, the packaging says that it comes with an extra "rivet".I challenge anyone to look at the picture and show me any rivets in use anywhere. There are exactly two fasteners on the device, both are screws held in place with wingnuts (which doesn't match the hinge pins they appear to be using now).So I've got this tortilla press that is unusable unless I take a trip to the hardware store.Maybe you'll be one of the lucky people that gets their press delivered in a usable condition. I sure wasn't.UPDATE 19-June-2021: I contacted customer service by email. It took them three weeks to get back to me. They requested a picture and my address. I sent them the picture and reiterated that all I need is the little screw that secures the cotter pin. They pasted in the specs the hinge screw that takes a wingnut, not the one that goes on the end of the cotter pin. They told me to go root around in a hardware store to find a fastener. It's been a long time since I hated a company so much.UPDATE 29-June-2021: I got a note saying they'd send me the missing fastener.
