-The 17cm short black power cord is a reverse polarity converter, not extension wire. It is used to reverse the original polarity of the power supply output port ( reverse the internal positive pole to negative , and the external negative pole to positive). Please confirm the polarity of your devices’ power port before use. If the positive and negative poles are reversed, it will cause short circuit and damage your device.
Instructions on how to choose a suitable adapter:
1. Check Voltage Please find the spec label of your device and check the working voltage. It should be among 3V~24V DC, not lower than 3V or higher than 24V DC. Otherwise, your device will not work or be damaged.
2. Check Current Check the max current your device will draw. It should be equal to or less than 3A, such as 1A, 1.5A, 2A, 2.5A, 3A. Otherwise, your device won’t work well and the PS will be damaged very soon.
3. Check Plugs Check the power input port of your device. The PS is equipped with 14 pcs frequently-used DC tips. Please confirm wether it fits for your device before buy. If you can 't confirm, please measure it with a ruler.
4. Check Original PS If you have a original power supply for reference, their output voltage, plug size, polarity should be the same . If our PS’s current is equal to or higher than original one’s, then our PS will work with your device.

Perfect for a general use power supply. When under load voltage tends to sag, so be prepared to adjust a little. It's not a bench power supply, but for the price it does great.

This is an awesome tool also I used it to test various devices that I wasn’t sure if they worked. I am currently using this for a speaker bar but now that I know it works I’ll get that particular power supply for that and my Neon sign. This will work on many things. I like it so much I want to just keep it as a tool to use finding out the wattage and also a way to test things to see if they work.

This is a nice little voltage power supply. It took me a little while for me to get the exactly 12 volts I needed to do the test on it any little movement I had it at 11.9 or 12.2 volts. It would be nice if it had steps and it would notch into each voltage section but because it's variable it's pretty much unlimited. When I did the first Test with some off road lights as soon as I engaged the power to the light it did drop down to 11.9 volts but it does work as it should. Does come with all sorts of attachments I mostly needed it for the clips so I could test equipment that I'm putting into my rig. Good to have around rather than having to hook everything up to a battery. I would recommend.

I have used this to resurrect dead batteries, run dc electric gadgets, and remove rust from old crusty hand tools. Always works as it should.
