A little tough to clip on my 2022 GMC pickup but they work and did the job. I needed something that would work for a few different vehicles.

This would’ve been a good purchase if the bottom clamps were adjustable for thicker mirrors. The bottom edge of our Ford F150 mirrors are too thick for these plastic clamps. Maybe I can find something from the hardware store to work. As is, this will probably fall off while driving.Unfortunately, my husband didn’t find the time to try these and, now that I have, it’s too late to return them.

Great mirror. Much sturdier than others. However, the feet for the screw down part comes off. Just went to use ours for the second or third time and were missing one of the feet. So we either have to scratch the mirror or find something to put in there so it doesn’t. Would be nice to have a more permanent foot on there.

The clips are not wide enough to clear the mirror. The feet that clamp onto the mirror housing have too big a profile to allow the clamp to enter between the mirror and the mirror housing/body. Without the clamping feet, it fits, but then you will scratch your mirror trying to secure them without the padded feet. Otherwise, would have kept them. Also, if you back the clamping screws out too much, the feet will come loose and you will lose them, as others have reported.

Why Ford never made towing g mirrors for any model of Exploder is a mystery. The 06 to 10 years have annoyingly small weird shaped mirrors that can't see around a 7 foot wide load. Yet they can tow 3500 - 5000 pounds and came with tow packages. So the tow mirror hunt began. These clip on mirrors have the four essentials that no other clip on have. Superior adjustability on a strong thick metal rod. Ability to clamp on tightly without interference, safety straps to prevent wind push-off, and a loss prevention lanyard attached. The mirror is mounted on a tight ball joint and can be turned way out, or way in ( if too windy) . Its a big mirror with a double view. Wind vibration can't be helped if you put them way out because the Ford mirrors are not super strong, so I put them out only as much as I need to. If you take care of these, they should nor fall off and get lost, and last. They might not work on a round mirror, but the square profile of the Exploder mirrors is ideal for these.

Bought these to use with our GMC Yukon when we are hauling our travel trailer. They’re easy to install and fit perfectly. Very secure even going down the highway.

Plastic securing pieces seem fragile. Be careful you might scratch your mirrors if you over tighten. Overall view is pretty good. Mirrors seem stable.
