Just depends on what kind of keyboard you plan to use it with. If it's a flat membrane type KB, this is actually quite nice. If your keys are raised like mechanicals, the cover will just kind of sit raised up on top of the keys. The picture of the Razer KB they show in the description makes it look like it would work with mechanicals, but I wouldn't recommend it. And typing on top of a cover on keys with more play doesn't work so well.

Die Tastatur-Schutzhülle ist groß genug und passt sich der Tastatur gut an, da sie biegsam ist. Wenn man sie abnimmt, kann man die Hülle gut falten oder rollen und neben die Tastatur legen.

It may not be the prettiest thing but it works like a charm. I got this to make it quieter when I type as I tend to type with my nails and it makes it so I do not slip off the keys and hit other keys. I highly recommend this for people with long nails that type.

I’m very disappointed in this product, because after been using it for 3 months it became white, I can’t see any key only if I turn on the lights of the keyboard

Edit: I raised my review from 4 to 5 stars. I've over time decided just to leave it on all the time because I got used to it. I just dumped an entire glass of water directly on my keyboard for the first time in my life, and the keyboard came out bone dry except a couple drops on the back plastic side that I was able to just wipe off with a towel. The Protector did its job well.I bought this cover because I can't replace the now-shredded cover that came with my keyboard since the keyboard doesn't appear to be sold anymore. I was unable to find one with fitted keys that worked with this keyboard, which still works perfectly well, so I needed something that would still work with it. I work from home and eat lunch at my desk often, so I keep it mostly covered when typing to prevent snack crumbs or spilled drinks from damaging my keyboard. This cover still allows me to type fine while it's on, but if I'm not eating/drinking, and I'm typing quite a lot, I'll be removing it, unlike my previous cover, because it's a little thicker, and my fingers fatigue faster with it on.I can still see the keys decently well through it when it's on, although it's definitely not clear, and better when I turn on the backlit keys. It's a good size and seems sturdy. It's a decent replacement that will keep the dust off when the keyboard is not in use and will give a good amount of protection if I'm working through lunches.

I have been using it since 2021 so more than 3 years and still working just fine. Although the see through visibility is less and requires frequent cleaning/washing, but its decent enough to protect the keyboard. One less star for less visibility.

I bought this as I have a bad habit of nibbling near my computer and thought this would be perfect to help protect the keyboard, instead, after about a week or two it started tearing, the texture turned from smooth to grimy. eventually after about the 3rd or 4th week it was garbage. Did give me a good idea but nope, not buying another one. I'm on my computer for up to 16hrs a day so for me this wasn't the best idea, perhaps if I was only on my computer to check my email or check something out, perhaps, but for someone using their keyboard like I do, this isn't recommended.

I killed 3 keyboards from small amts of water spilling into the keys. I first tried the keyboard cover (yes, the thing like a saranwrap with elastic that goes over the keyboard). If you pull it "taut", the covers work well. However, my short nails kept tearing a hole near the "s" key, allowing moisture to get in again. So I then tried to use thick saran wrap. Same issue...the tears occurred near the "s". Ok....so I then tried to protect the purchased plastic "bonnet" with saran wrap and the saran wrap tore in 2 days.The issue and reason that I reduced this to 4 stars is because this silicone layer doesn't protect adequately against water! But it does protect against damage to the plastic bonnet. So I am using the plastic protector under the silicone cover and the silicone protects against damage to the plastic. I probably could do the same with saran wrap. This silicone protector is starting to stretch on the left hand side, but not so much that it's causing issues. In retrospect, now that I see how this silicone cover works, I might have been able to take a 4mil plastic bag and tape it around the keyboard and it wouldn't have torn. However, I must say that I like the feel of this silicone layer. No regrets - I was aware of the fact that this product doesn't address the water issue. But if the manufacturer wanted to make a better product, they might have a way to be longer or more "envelope like" so that it could seal the keyboard from water.

Simple, but effective. It fits perfectly on my keyboard and performs exactly as expected. I was hesitant on purchasing this because it is literally is just a sheet of silicone, but it stays and place, covers/ protects my entire board, and even cancels out the sound of my nails hitting the keys making my typing almost silent. Great purchase at a low price point.
