You would think they would leave a cutout where it doesn't press on your power button whenever you mount your phone into the thing

I'm using this mount for holding an iPhone 13 Pro Max on a Mavic Pro controller. It works pretty well, though I had to get a longer cable for plugging the phone into controller as the DJI stock cable for the Mavic Pro was a little short to reach the phone when this was mounted.

I guess it doesn’t fit my knock off drone as it doesn’t seem to lock in place in the controller handles and my iPhone is a bit too big for the clamps with the larger phone cases. The other issue is the clamps are really cheap sounding as when you stretch them out to any width the springs song like they are grinding against something or twisted on themselves and these are the only clamps I currently have that feel and sound like this. The last one I had that made this sound with the grinding feel and sound broke, quickly. Maybe just easier to use the phone as the screen and controller.

Works great with my DJI RC-N3. However, it's a very tight fit for my 10.2" iPad. It's so tight that it will only fit with no case on the iPad. If you stretch the clamp to its maximum and lip in one side of the iPad, you can squeeze it in. It couldn't be any tighter of a fit. It would have been nice if they had made it open just a bit wider so I could have left the case on. If you have an iPad Mini or an 8" tablet, you'll have no problem. You can tilt and slide the tablet to adjust it as needed. It's noticeably more cumbersome than using my iPhone 16 Max, but it's wonderful having the larger display. My iPad is the 2021 10.2 model and has the lightning port. I used a female-female USBC coupler to connect the DJI USBC lightning connector to the USBC cable of the RC-N3.Interestingly enough, this tablet holder solves another problem. I have a Gamesir G8 Plus game controller. It's made to hold a phone or a small tablet and slides open to grip the phone. But it doesn't open enough to hold my iPad. This is a common enough problem and many folks have been modding the Gamesir to make it stretch further than it's made to. This holder is the perfect solution and doesn't require modding the controller. If the seller packaged and advertised this as a tablet holder for gaming controllers like the Gamesir G8+, they'd get an excellent reception from the gaming community. I have photos I'm uploading that you can check out. In my opinion, it's a better setup than a PlayStation Portal.

I agree with other reviewers that this holder is a little expensive for what you get. The frame is heavy duty and in fact quite heavy. Unfortunately the weak spot are the clamps for your phone and tablet. The clamps feels pretty cheaply made and this is the part you will be using constantly. The holder holds my iPhone XS Max quite well and the adjustments feel nice and stiff so they will hold in place once you set them where you need it. Really the only con is that if you are going to charge this price for it them the manufacturer should have built in a better phone/tablet clamp to match the sturdiness of the frame.

So unlike other tablet mounts, this one has the tablet gripper attached to what’s basically a dummy phone. Nice idea, since now the tablet mount can be used with any drone controller that supports a phone mount, not just a DJI controller. I’ve attached pics of it in use on a DJI controller troller, a Holy Stone controller and a TSRC A4 controller. Be aware though that the cheaper controllers aren’t really designed to hold the weight of a tablet and on the TSRC one in particular it seems like the phone mount might snap right off. But this tablet mount itself attaches quite securely to just about all controllers that hold a phone. So it’s versatile, and it attaches very securely to the DJI controller, but with the tablet it’s not so great - the little tablet grips aren’t deep enough and it doesn’t hold the tablet itself because it’s too shallow. So instead, the grippers end up holding onto the edges of the cover part of the tablet’s case. This is NOT very secure, especially if the cover has fold lines in it like mine does. Of course, you can get around this by not using a case, or by removing the tablet from the case each time you fly, but that’s a hassle so I took off a star and almost took off two.

I ordered this to use with my DJI Mini 2 and it should work fine. As you can see from the photos, it fits the remote by putting it in the existing phone holder and then adjusting it to where you want it. There is a slight issue with the USB-C communication cable that came with the remote and that is its length. It's designed to be just long enough to reach a phone while in its holder so when you extend the arm of this aftermarket holder it doesn't reach at all angles. I found that I can only get the cord to reach at a couple of different angles which is somewhat limiting. Beyond that it seems to be working ok and keeps my Pixel 7 in place even with the phone case on it. I should also mention that this unit is a bit heavy, and you will definitely notice the difference when you add it to your existing remote. I also think that they have the price a bit expensive for what you get, and I think if you look around you might find a more inexpensive version out there. With that said, if you don't mind the price and are aware of the other points I have made, I think you will like this holder.

This works as expected with my Mini 1 and Mavic 2 controller. It has adapters for cellphones and 8/9 inch tablets. It does not work with my 10in tablet with a tough case on it. Might work with out the case. This is sturdy so I don't have to worry about it breaking. I like the two adapters for cellphones and tablets. I also like that I can use this with the Mavic 2 and my Mini 1. We will use these drones more now. Might pick up a second one. I would say this is a valuable addition to any flight bag.
