I got this as a "different" container for a particular beverage (home made soy milk) that has particles of the beans in it that have to be filtered out, or else be allowed to settle and not be disturbed when pouring. It fit the bill very nicely for this. Once the bean particles settle to the bottom, it is easy to pour most of it off without stirring up the bottom too much -- BUT--The shape of the container makes it really, really difficult to clean. And soy milk that dries is like glue, and very very few things loosen it up. The sharp turn from the spout to the globe shape make it really hard to put something down in their that can clean the top of the globe next to the spout.I found a brush on a wire center that I could bend around that would clean up in their, but it can't apply much pressure, so if something dries on up there, you will have to soak the inside for 24 hours to loosen up the soy milk glue. So, good and bad. Perfect for the use, but really hard to clean. Maybe there is a special brush for Florence flasks that are used in a laboratory. Or maybe in the lab, they just fill it with hydrochoric acid and give it a shake, I don't know.

These make the absolute best wine decanters. Pour in a 750ml and give it a swirl and you’ve got magic...

It only lasted about 30 minutes, i applyed Heat at a slow steady pace before the bottom cracked. Not sure if the product was faulty or if it was my fault.

The glass container is exactly as shown. There were no cracks, or visual stress signs. I use this as a decoration, and not for science.

No complaints. Been in the lab with light use, no problems. Glass wall looks smooth and thickness appears to be consistent.

You might think the flask is for your badass scientific self, but stock a couple of these for your kitchen ... they look fun and hold a very convenient supply of drinks or cooking liquids. It's also a low cost, and hipster vase ... give it a try!!
