UNI-T Pipeline Blockage Detector 35M (UT661D)
The UT661 series pipeline blockage detectors can quickly locate blockages clogging inside pipelines. They are able to detect pipes from a maximum distance of 50cm, the signal wire can be inserted into pipelines up to 25/35m for UT661C/D respectively. UT661 series are easily operable, and can be used to detect steel, iron, and pvc pipes.
How to use?
- Put the signal line and the tip of the transmitter into the pipe until the signal line can not advance, at this time the location of the probe is the location of the blockage
- Turn on the power switch of the transmitter, the green indicator lights up
- Open the receiver power switch hand-held signal receiver along the general direction of the buried pipeline probe If close to the pipeline inside the probe receiver horn will emit a buzzing sound, the sound of the largest place is the blockage point, make a mark to draw the signal line to chisel the ground can be processed

#1 the push rod/tape is so flemsy u can't put it in a pipeline no more than a few inches b4 it starts wanting to curl up inside the pipe. #2 if you do get it in the pipe without it curling up, if the pipe is under 4" of concrete & 4" of dirt, it will not pick up the signal. In other words this thing is pretty useless. Save your $ & just guess where the stoppage is because that's what ul end up doing anyway

Used to find the location of a well. Ran down the pipe and worked as it should. Getting it past a 90 degree fitting is kinda tough but it can be done.

This worked great. I think there will be lots of uses for this besides just pipes. It is easy to use, easy to store away and just works. I could not be happier.

I was trying to find a buried pvc sprinkler pipe. I took off a sprinkler head, and inserted the cable into the pvc pipe. I followed along on top of the ground with the handheld wand. It detected the probe and cable in the pvc pipe, which was about 14” underground. I dug straight down on top of the pipe with a shovel.

Let me say that when I bought this I was concerned after reading the reviews that this would be a waste of time to locate sewer pipes under a slab. Well it did do the job but the depth of locating is limited. I would say it can read through at the very most 12" of combined slab and dirt. But EXTREMELY weak signal at 12" depth. It saved alot of digging and concrete replacement so I will be keeping it. Charging and operation was simple.

I needed to trace a 4" inch PVC drainage pipe. The wire is not ridgid like electrical fish wire. After attempting several tries could not push more than four feet of wire through a empty 4 inch pipe. The transmitter signal is too weak and was hard to detect in deep soil. For steel and iron pipe, forget it! This product comes out of China. Buyer beware

Tested Receiver & Transmitter out of the box as user manual instructed and receiver didn't make any sound next to probe. Sent detailed info to Xin customer service also per user manual and received a useless response asking me questions I either clearly had covered in my initial note or had no connection to the issue. "What I was going to use the probe for" doesn't matter if the darn thing doesn't work at all!!!!!!!Returning and buying another from a different supplier. will NOT BUY FROM XIN AGAIN!!!!
