I finally got a chance to use this and it worked out great you will need to adjust the sensitivity down or you will get false indications , I guess feedback tru the buss in the panel

The wiring in my house is crazy. One room in my house is supplied by three different circuit breakers and the only way I would have ever figured that out is using this tool. With this tool, I was able to simply & quickly identify every receptacle that is controlled by each breaker. Just plug-in the transmitter, & take the sensor probe to your circuit breaker box & touch it to the front of each breaker to instantly find the correct one, the one that beeps. It is very sensitive, so it might beep on more than one breaker, but whichever one beeps the strongest is the one that’s correct. It seems to be made of high-quality and strong materials, and gives you instant readings to determine which circuit breaker is connected to a given wall outlet or light socket.

Product certainly takes out the guess work when testing the outlets plug line back to the breaker.

Never knew this tool existed, but glad to discover this and it works great! It is very sensitive, so you have to move slowly over the breakers and adjust the tool setting as necessary. Once you get a signal, decrease the sensitivity again and go over the breakers again. Eventually you should be able to isolate your circuit down to a single breaker. Unsure if a name brand tool is easier or faster, but at least this tool work for a fraction of the price.

I bought this a few months ago , expecting I would find it useful at some point. Well, today was that day. I had to figure out what breaker controlled a specific outlet. I followed the directions, plugged the receiver in and went to the box. Well, it buzzed on several breakers that worker associated with the one I was looking for, and didn’t buzz on the right one. It was totally useless, except for the receiver. I had to have my son watch the light on that while I turned breakers on and off until we found the right one. I wish I had tried it right away because I could have returned it for one that worked. I feel like I wasted my money since the return period is over. If you are looking at this one, consider buying another.

I bought a cabin which had a bunch of bad GFCI's and a few wiring problems. I used this to test them and to find the correct circuit breaker to turn off when I replaced the bad GFCI's and while repairing wiring. I have two breaker boxes, with the finder it was easy to locate the correct one. Finding the correct breaker was a little harder, you have to adjust the sensitivity lower until just one breaker causes it to beep. On max sensitivity multiple breakers will beep. Once I turned off the breaker, I verified that the outlet tester showed the power was off- the green LED's were off. The outlet tester is easy to use, just plug it in and the LED's tell you if it's wired correctly.

Had to turn it to the lowest sensitivity, but it pinpointed the breaker just fine.I needed to find the breaker for a light switch so I unscrewed the light bulb and screwed in one of those adapter things that lets you plug something in where a light bulb goes. Those don't have a ground pin so I used an adapter. I was afraid it might not work but the signal went through just fine and I was able to find the breaker. Nice to be able to change out a light switch without shocking myself or turning every breaker off until I finally found the one I wanted.

I got it to track down some deenergized plugs. Sender is not powered so only works on powered circuits
