Ok my 6 year old loves these. I bought size small she wears size 11 is shoes. They fit perfect.They have colorful light up wheels. She learned how to skate in them comfortably. Super girly and cute good quality no complains and have had them for a few months. They are easy to use. They come with laces but she doesn’t use them just the latch buckle. Worth what I paid.

These rollerskates are literally amazing. They’re very colorful nice good solid material comes with extra screws and tools just in case any of the wheels loosen up by chance has the straps the shoelaces and what I like about it is that the rollerskates is adjustable my seven year-old daughter loves them so much She have gotten so many compliments due to how these roller skates look the wheels also light up definitely worth the money spent

My husband got these for his niece to use when she comes to visit. There are a few things I don't think he took into consideration.First, we live in Manhattan. Kids don't just generally go out skating in the streets unless and until they are at least into their teen years. His niece is 12!Second, we live in a small one bedroom apartment. Even if she COULD use them in the apartment, the neighbors below us would have an absolute fit. And where she would skate in a small apartment is anyone's guess.Third, I question whether this is appropriate for a 12 year old girl, who is much more likely to be thinking about boys than about unicorn skates. Honestly, the skates are so childlike it's hard for me to imagine a 12 year old using them; I would think she would more likely be just mortified. We will certainly find out.Having said all this, IF I had a 4 or 5 year old who wanted to skate, I think these appear to be well made, sufficiently cheesy and tacky, and colorful enough that they would be an appropriate gift. But just make sure you take into account the age of the girl, and whether she thinks of herself more as a kid, or as a young woman. Only one of those is going to love these skates.
