This pump is durable and easy to cleanMost of the other pumps I got for my pond were shot within a month. This one keeps on even during freezing weather. Heavier than most.

I got this on October 31 2024. Today is February 6th. It burnt out I went to check on the fish and it was humming and super hot. I’m surprised it didn’t catch my house on fire. 3 months live is garbage. I will have to buy a different brand .

Worked for me replaced a noisy ass Danner 950 pump, was really sad about it I have always liked their pumps. As far as this one I was willing to deal with a less noisy pump, well it turned out to be almost completely silent could not be happier!

This pump puts out. I like this pump for my 400 gallon fish pond. It’s quiet, runs smooth and circulation of the pond water is great. I’m glad I got this pump. I run this pump about 12 hours a day and it is reliable. Good power and speed of flow.

Previous pump was 1250 GPH but wasn’t working. This one is plenty strong. I do wish it had an adjustable flow because it’s a little too strong for my fountain.

The pump works fine as a submersible pump, and can do 700+ gph without any outlet lift-tube attached. (as good as can be expected)Cons:By far the biggest con is the inline function, the impeller cover doesn't go in very deep and is not fully threaded. The pump only has 2 tabs that lock in the impeller cover... it locks in with a 1/8 turn, unscrews and pops off very easily.A quality pump would have some sort of foam filter included, this doesn't.Cord is only 6ftThe adaptor sizes are incorrect (1" intake, 3/4" output)The adaptor selection is limited, chances are you'll be buying a 1"-3/4" threaded adaptor.Power consumption is higher than the norm. (true 800gph is usually is usually is mid-40's, this one is 55watt.

I am using this pump with an aquarium where I wanted more flow than the prior pump I was using, and it is working wonderfully. Even though it is pumping about twice the flow, it makes no more noise than the smaller pump I had been using. For my aquarium, it is pumping from a sump below the tank to raise the water about 4 feet, without any noticeable drop is flow rate. Before installing the pump I tested it pumping water between two 5 gallon buckets to compare its flow to the model pump I wanted to replace. When connected to 1 inch PVC pipe pumping water between the two buckets, it really does pump about twice the water of the smaller Uniclife pump. After I installed it in the sump, the flow rate with a 4 foot head with the 1 inch PVC is not noticeably reduced from the tests with level buckets with no head. Other pumps I have used and tested normally have a drop to less than half the flow for this setup. This pump should also work well for small pond and fountain applications outside.
