They were a perfect fit replacement for my Pentair PLS 420 filter. I don’t know how long the filter cells were here, but we have lived here over 3.5 years and I know the prior owners did a lot on the cheap. I will see how they do filtering the pool and update this review. I know from using Unicell filter cells at our prior pool, they were a great fit and worked great.

We ordered the 4 pack. It arrived in two separate packages of 2, days apart with no indication that they were shipped that way so once the first package was delivered Amazon marked it as a completed order. Thankfully the seller responded quickly with tracking information for the second package and it arrived a couple days later. The filters fit and are working.

Amazing! I was having problems with my old filters in the water pressure building up too quickly because they were so dirty. I put these in and now the pump runs like It’s brand new. And the pool went from murky to clear.

Good pool filters. Noticed Improved pool water clarity and also significantly reduced mustard algae after installing. We were really fighting that stuff and now it’s just a small annoyance.

We have bought our new cartridge filters through Amazon for years. We’ve always gone back to the same seller with the same off-brand cartridges. This year, we put our usual cartridges in our cart and then went back to finalize the order a couple days later. In that time, the cartridges sold out. We needed 4, they had 1. I did some searching and found these cartridges, They are not off-brand and they were actually a few bucks cheaper. No-brainer. 2 days later our order arrived on time. The cartridges are fine and all was seamless. Where I’m blown away, though, is that these cartridges came with instructions for how to take care of various problems, like algae or oils rom sunscreen. This means, with that previous seller, we were replacing cartridges we could have actually used longer if we’d known these “hacks”. Going back to our pool school, our “teacher” told us to replace when x,y, or z happened. Turns out, not true. But that previous seller was all too happy to “let” us spend our money.These are better cartridges for a few bucks cheaper, with instructions for odd circumstances where it turns out the cartridges don’t yet have to be replaced. Love...and will be back. Hopefully not for quite awhile, though.

I wanted to replace my older than they should be filters, and since they lasted so long I wanted to make sure I got the same filters, the Unicel 7471, not some "just like" or replacement that fit exactly like. The problem was locally they were very expensive, and you could find some filters that would fit your filter, and then there was a lot of marketing hype as to how much better their "technology" was on their filters, but they were a lot cheaper than the Unicels. Fortunately I was able to find the Unicel's on Amazon at a price just a little more than what I assume are the knock-off brands, and they were directly from Amazon and got them in two days with Prime.When I put in the pool the first set of filters only lasted about a year, not sure what brand they were, or if the installer put in some knock offs, or if I just got some bad ones, but they were replaced with the Unicel ones that lasted more than five years, which is why I wanted to get the same filters, hoping for the same longevity. They old ones haven't fallen apart, and still have some of the original bands so am still impressed with them, but there comes a time when they do wear out and don't hold as much of what you are trying to get out of your pool.These are indeed Unicel filters, or have their logo on the box and on the packaging, and say they are made in the USA. As I said my old ones were long overdue for replacement, I had to hose them off once a month to keep the pressure correct. After I put 4 of these in the water finally really cleared up and the pressure has not moved for two months.

Buy a cheap swimming pool filter? Not me. I only want the best. That's why I choose Unicel. They are the Mercedes of pool filters. Sure, I've tried the cheaper ones where the pleated media band falls off or the base doesn't make a good seal, allowing it to bypass. With 4 good Unicel filters, my head pressure on my pent air filter box reads a low 17 something . What is that? PSI? CuFt? Furlongs? I don't know, but anyway. Good quality filters that stay together. Stay classy, Unicel.
