Unlike others, these have a nice, bold, even flow to them. My new “go to” pen!

I'm left handed, and I found this in a left handed store. It's not that it is only for lefties, but it has exceptional features -- that even lefties can rave about. We lefties push our pen rather than pull it along and so our hand goes right over what we've written, resulting in ink coming off the paper onto our hand. So get this: 1) it glides like a charm. The uniball dispenses the ink easily, evenly and smoothly. 2) the ink dries immediately, so no smudging onto the hand! 3) it's comfortable to hold and is padded for long use. I have given these pens as gifts to righties and they also love them. One friend says "it is the best pen I've ever used." Seems weird to be so enthusiastic about a simple item as a pen, but it's an essential tool, right? So nice that something so ordinary as a pen can be such a pleasure to use! I have many all over the house, it's the only pen I want to ever use. Finally, a well-designed, superb functioning pen that is reasonably priced!

My new job has me writing quite a bit of notes than my previous one. I am old school so I prefer a notebook over carrying a laptop around the shop and in meetings I find it easier to take hand written notes than typing into a memo.2 things that were important to me. The pen has to write good and the ink has to be indelible. I usually opt for a Gel pen despite the fact they run out of ink quickly but I cannot use Gel at the new place.Writing, this pen is buttery smooth. I cannot say I have ever written with a pen this smooth outside of the every now and again you find some unicorn that makes you audibly say, "dam, this pen writes nice". With the person you borrowed it from saying, I know, now pass back.It is fairly comfortable to write with but it could use a little curve to the grip area. I feel with how smooth this writes, they missed the mark on the grip.Other than that, I would say do not hesitate to purchase.

As a lefty I struggle with the dreaded smear of pens. These pens have very little smear and a nice smooth writing experience. My go to every day work pen.

I cannot say enough good about this outstanding pen. I was looking for a really nice pen to be the only pen for my new desk setup. I was reading a bunch of pen reviews when I read the one from Wirecutter and they recommended this as their go to pen. I had always had the pilot G2 as my go to pen but hated how the ink would smear. I am so happy I tried the 12 pack of these pens as now they are my desk pen, my work pen, and my travel pen. I have switched and am a believer in this inexpensive pen. It is lightweight, smooth writing, and the ink does not smear. It is a pretty nice looking pen to boot.

Works great, writes easily without a lot of pressure, smudge-free for a left-hander, and a box of 12 is economical. The only dislike is that sometimes, on extra smooth (or possibly greasy?) paper like some foolscap, it stops writing and takes some efforts to get going again. The line width is variously described as "bold," "1.0 mm," and "1.0 - 1.9 mm" but in reality it is only about 0.5 mm wide if you press hard on a soft surface, and much narrower - like a "fine" point - when writing normally. Also, both it and the Uni-Ball Signo 207 are described as having "uni Super Ink" but maybe it's a different version of ink because the Signo is a "gel" pen with over three times as much ink in the cartridge, writes a bit smoother in my experience, and costs the same, so that's what I'll get next time.

I've gone through 5 of these pens now. They're fine the first few hours of use, afterwards they no longer run smoothly (even though there's still plenty of ink)

Me gustó que llegaron al siguiente dia. Yo sol amante de esta marca por muchos años y me llamó la atención que la punta en general no rueda tan facilmente como hubiera esperado

Compared to "name brand" pens in the same or even higher price range (*arker, *haeffer, *ic, *ross, etc), these pens are far and away the best value; comfortable, smooth writing, non-smudge/quick dry, doesn't leave globs of ink, inexpensive (especially in 12-packs). Bonus, they look like a cheap plastic throwaway pen so you don't have to worry about someone picking it up and misappropriating it - unless you make the mistake of letting them use it for an extended period of time. The ONLY reason for the 4-star review, instead of a 5-star, is that a couple pins in every box of 12 are prone to having the small piece of plastic attached to the pocket clip, separating from the pen's main body. It just clicks right back in place and if it happens repeatedly, a drop of Super Glue permanently fixes the problem in 30 sec. NOTE: This may, in some small part, be due to the rough usage to which I subject the pen (i.e., marking lumber and rough cardboard, forcing the clip over work shirt, even jean, pockets, pushing hard to ensure marking through pages of multi-copy carbonless forms, etc.); yep, I'm hard on equipment.Bottom line, I will never buy another pen as long as these are available!

I have, for many years, searched for a pen I could use all day. No, really. I took paper and pen notes in college, and used mediocre pens. I took paper and pen notes in grad school, and used a reasonable pen (some inhouse type from Staples). One wonderful day (yes, I am dead serious, a wonderful day; keep reading) I got an offer from Uniball: free pen. I received a red Jetstream RT. I immediately began seeking out black ones. What I love about these pens: the solvent used to make the pen glide means VERY little pressure is needed as you write, so you can easily write a lot and for long periods of time without the soreness that comes from pressing down with a cheap pen all day. The grip itself is quite comfortable, and the pen is large enough that those with any size hand should be happy with it. The ink is remarkable. It shares a few things in common with permanent marker ink, so it will not wash out; these are great for signing checks for that reason, and of course if you spill something on what you've written there will be a little yellow bleeding, but the original marks will still be as clear as day. Additionally, the ink dries RIDICULOUSLY fast (that same great solvent) so even LEFTIES will be pleased. Finally, and among my favorite features, the ink does NOT bleed through the page while you're writing. If you're feeling particularly green, you can buy ink refills on Amazon and most office supply places for these pens.Unplanned feature: the pens will actually survive a clothes washing incident WITHOUT leaking all over your garments. The pen will likely be kaput, but to have no ink marks on clothing is a really great thing. This has happened twice.I literally took paper notes through the entirety of law school, and this was the pen I used for 90% of that time. They are often sold in 3 packs of a single color or the office combo (red, blue, and black). Look around on Amazon for the 12 packs of these pens if you fall in love the way I did.I came to find that for taking notes in law school (and again, I used these almost since day 1), I preferred the 1.0 mm Jetstream RTs. For exams (including a bar exam), I used the 0.7mm Jetstream RTs.I hope this helps someone. I really cannot oversell these pens or overstate how pleased I continue to be with them.Edit: Used a Jetstream RT to take the MA bar exam. Passed. Was as comfortable as I could be with such smooth-writing instruments all day long.
