About this item

  • Navy Blue JETSTREAM 4&1 has four 0.7mm ballpoint ink components (red, green, blue, and black), plus a 0.5mm mechanical pencil component.
  • Mechanical pencil utilizes Nano Dia 0.5mm HB high quality blended lead for a sharp, erasable writing experience.
  • The perfect tool to keep you organized without the clutter of multiple pens and pencils.
  • Water, fade, and forgery-resistant quick-drying ink.
  • Advanced writing grip is responsive to your touch for optimum control and comfort.

Uni Jetstream inks are touted as enabling "smooth writing that becomes a habit." Smooth writing and sharp design come together in this multi pen that is targeted towards business professionals and designers. This pen combines four incredible 0.5 mm Jetstream inks and a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil in one pen body. The oil-based ink is water- and light-resistant and has an extremely low coefficient of friction. That means that the pen practically glides across the paper. Best of all, the specially-formulated ink has good flow, density, and color pigment, and it dries quickly.

So far, so good. All the pen colors and the mech. pencil work great, and it has a nice feel.

I love these pens. I make notes(yes I am old fashioned) and the different colors I use to prioritize tasks.

I brought two colors. I needed a multi-pen to switch between pencil and colored pens while in the field for work or helping my grandkids. I like the feel and the writing comfort. Wish I could find erasers.

This is a great pen that I've been using for years! I first found it while I was in nursing school and it's great for categorizing your notes. The pen writes very smooth and has a nice presentation. Everyone I let borrow the pen always threaten to steal it. The pencil that comes with it also writes very well. You can buy refills on here if you type in the pen name so one of these can last you a very long time, so long as you're not as hard on pens as I am (this is my third one).

I like taking multi colored notes, but used to I get laughed at for carrying 30 pens in my pocket at any given time.Enter the uni JETSTREAM 4&1. Now instead of carrying 3 pens around with me, I've got one - and a bonus color... AND a mechanical pencil. Take that, people who used to laugh at me. Now I'm finally cool enough.Pros:+ The colors red, blue, and black (not a color, I know) are all buttery smooth to write with+ So much functionality in so small a space+ 4 colors AND a mechanical pencil... and eraser?!?Cons:- The color green doesn't write very smoothly. It's gotten a little better with use, but it may just be something with green ink. It's definitely not a deal breaker.- The mechanical pencil is a bit clunky to use (truth be told it took me awhile to realize it was the clip portion of the pen that did that). It sometimes retracts when I'm looking to click out some more lead. Also, I am confident I will one day break off the clip, just like I typically do.Really, neither one of those is a deal breaker, and if you're considering getting this, it's well worth it.... plus, all the cool kids are getting one.

excellent, if you have specific questions please feel free to email me. writes so smooth--I am very picky about pens and this was a risk I thought bc I am never happy with multicolored pens. Since they can be so useful (esp for nurses) I thought I would take a chance based on the good reviews and the look of the pen. No regrets. Love pencils too and so far the pencil is good too. No complaints. I was so impressed that I showed it to my son who is left handed and the first thing he did was the smudge test and I laughed--it passed. Will update as time goes on.update:I lost my pen! very unlike me to misplace a needed item. After giving it a few days to turn up, I ordered another one a few minutes ago because I liked it so much. Then went down to get a load of laundry out of the dryer and whatayaknow, there it was in two pieces. :( I put it back together and gave it a doubtfilled try, and dang! it worked just as before! Through a washer and dryer cycle, no leaks, went back together and works like a $10 pen should. Thought you should know.

In recent experience, I have found myself increasingly using colors in my notes to distinguish some ideas from others. For example, preparing for a meeting, I will use a blue pen to write my pre-meeting notes; during the meeting, I will fill in ideas using a brighter color, such as red. Sometimes, I will write the general notes in black, but use red to highlight action items, and green to indicate follow-up questions I have for later. You look a little silly sitting in a meeting constantly switching pens, so I looked for a multi-color pen solution. My first thought was the old blue-and-white BIC pens. However, I don't like ballpoint, and I wanted something that looks more elegant. The Uni Jetstream 4-color pen works really well for me. I can seamlessly switch colors to categorize my notes within the same page. It is a fine point, meaning there is very little bleed on the page, and the writing is also very smooth and seamless. I still use my various colored pens when working at my desk, but I always take the Uni Jetstream to every meeting.
