This does not fit any of the tele parts I have tried on it. Of course, I can re-route the pickup cavities to fit like they are supposed to, and recontour the heel so a standard or aftermarket Tele pickguard will fit on straight, but that's not what I want to do when I buy a body that is in this condition. The top veneer is also very thin, which leads to problems sanding it, and the glue soaked through the top in spots so it also makes finishing with a stain rather complicated.Of course, I did not realize all of these problems until I already tried to apply the first coats of stain, and by then it was not returnable.Problems: Heel contour is uneven, doesnt match standard Tele pickguards. Front pickup cavity is slightly too short, required 1/8" more routing to fit. Veneer top is too thin and has glue spots. Control cavity is out of position slightly, requiring routing to make it fit with the pickguard and knob plate.

Have to order a top loader bridge, or drill for string through but that's all part of doing a project.
