I used the gunmetal color rivets on a faux leather backpack. The holes were very easy to make with the tool that came with the rivets. Now my backpack has a whole new look. very happy with the results.

Like others have said the metal is VERY easy to bend and make it difficult to get a symmetrical look. If you’re careful with some practice you can get it done better but it’s a little unpleasant. Also, there’s a set of pins that has no matching caps (the small dark ones), which is both puzzling and irritating once you realize it. fortunately I didn’t plan on using these for anything heavy duty, mostly light-weight and for aesthetic rather than function things, so I don’t plan on returning them. I don’t think I’d buy them again, though.
