Never knew that bone would make that much difference. Night and day. If you’re thinking of changing your bridge saddle and nut than just do it. You will be thankful. Easy to sand down to size.

Real bone nut and saddle. Saddle slot on the bridge there is a little bit gap on it. it measures only 74mm.For yamaha users out there should purchase 75mm bone saddle. But overall sound quality improved a lot on my Yamaha F370 all laminated and my FG800 solid sitka spruce top

The saddles were a bit wider that the bridge just as expected. Everything worked fine after filing and sanding to the correct size. Intonation is spot on.

Nuts seem to be of good quality and accurately dimensioned. 2 of the nuts were somewhat kind of tacky(not greasy). One bottom on the nut was not square. The thickness except for 1 was like 5.92 and the other was 5.99. I used one on my Epiphone hummingbird (inspired by gibson), it was practically a drop in. Preslots are excellent. The only sanding was one end very slight. These are real bone nuts. As with all bone, being a natural product, there may be some slight imperfections. I recommend these.

Love the Bones! Looks great, Warmer tone and overall better sound. Didn't think it was going to make a difference, but figured let me try it. Glad I did.My daughter was tire of the bright sound of her acoustic. This changed everything. Dad did good.Thought I was done filing down and setting it up the nut until I saw the pics I just took for the review. Next time I change the strings I'll file the sides.. The nut heighy needed to be filed down a BIT to get the action right. Took some work. Keeping it at the proper level angle was tricky. Keep checking as you file. I was crooked. Lost the 90° angle on the nut for a bit, but got it back before it was to late.String slots cut perfectly. The action and Intonation are GOOD.Filing Bone smells weird.The saddle fit perfect (height wise) no filing necessary. A lil small for the slot (see pic). But it works and sounds Great. Added ebony pegs also.Altogether, the Bones make a Difference and made the Guitar GREAT Again.Highly recommended.

I purchased this item for a cheap Chinese acoustic which was given to me by another family member and seemed to be a very nice guitar other than the nut, saddle, and bridge pins being plastic, and killing the tones.After setting the truss rod and getting the neck setup with some nice Elixer 80/20's It played a little better, but I know there was more to be had which a little work. I set the saddle height with the original saddle and realized very quick that I had a genuine piece of plastic for the saddle.I decided to go with bone rather than a TUSQ which I have used on my other acoustics and I'm very happy with the tones, that the Vencetmat Unbleached Acoustic Guitar Bridge Saddle and Guitar Nut have delivered.Cheap easy upgrade, that is within the abilities of most people that possess a little patience's, and some sandpaper and a little wood glue.

The bridge piece was a great fit. Don't forget to adjust the neck after install if your old plastic bridge was low. Properly installing this fixed a horrendus buzzing in my guitar near the bridge. 👍

This is a nice nut for my needs, which is a Grote Hollowbody Jazz Electric Guitar. The one issue is that 3 of the 4 nuts with short on one dimension, the 6mm turned out to be 5.9mm, or .1mm (.005") short. But the quality of the nut is fine, and the radius worked out for my 350 mm (13.78") radius. I need to sand off about .4mm (.015") from the bottom of the nut to get a good string action that was intonated properly. If all nuts would have been 6mm thick, I would have given the Vencetmat Unbleached Acoustic Guitar Nuts a 5-star rating.

4 pre-cut bone nuts for $10, what’s not to love? I’ve read some complaints in the reviews and honestly, many of those are because the buyer failed to measure the existing nut first. And realistically, no nut is going to be a drop-in replacement on your guitar. Sanding is almost certainly a requirement on this nut or any other brand. Bone is pretty hard so sanding takes a while. But the good news is that makes it harder to go too far while sanding.You do need some basic knowledge of how to set the action on a guitar. If you don’t know how to adjust your guitar’s action, you probably shouldn’t be replacing a nut. That’s my (strong) opinion.I installed it on a strat-style guitar and am delighted with the results. Definitely a tonal improvement over the stock plastic nut. Going to put another one on my SG.
