Tres satisfait.En os véritable !!!

Items were as described and of good quality. Found they improved the sound of my Yamaha AC3R acoustic. Very snug fit compared to the original plastic saddle, but I actually prefer that.

I like the fact that this comes as two sets.. because as my luck would have it, I screwed up the first attempt and cut the bridge saddle too short. No one's fault but my own, but sooo glad I had another in the package to save the project timeline!! Good Stuff! Great Value, I recommend.

This would work fine for those using beginner to intermediate guitars, but the shapes are not able to be filed properly for intonation changes. The saddle is rounded off in a straight line | while it usually ends up being filed to a shape after properly adjusting. The "rounding" makes it impossible to get the correct without dropping tonation or height. Everything above fret 9 gets iffy. The nut was unusable for my guitar. I don't return stuff because it's a waste for everyone involved, so I'll manage to use the saddle until I find one that can be better shaped for proper intonation.

It works ok and was very easy to fit. The nut is not wide enough though. String spacing is perfect but it looks a bit weird that the slot is wider than the nut. Would have been better to leave it a bit wider and let the customer sand it to a perfect fit.

This bone nut and saddle fit my Yamaha LS-TA perfectly. Almost too perfect. I wish they would’ve left them a little large so I had some material left to work with when polishing. But for those that just want it to fit right away, these do. The saddle will most likely need to be lowered, so plan on sanding the bottom of that some but the length and thickness were a better fit than the loose fitting stock saddle. The nut didn’t need any sanding except for adjusting the string slots with fret files. Overall I’m very pleased with how well these worked. It definitely improved the guitar sound quality over the factory plastic pieces.

While filling down these you can smell that the material is real bone.Installed on LL-16, Yamaha.“Works” out of the box, but you will need to file and fine tune it to your liking.

Saddled up and bought it for the saddle mainly. Nice replacement for the acoustic.

The nut fits into the Yamaha AC1R's nut slot snugly. It is a little over 1 mm wider than the Yamaha nut. The string spacing (E to e, center to center) is 37.50 mm - very noticeably wider than the Yamaha's 35.77 mm. You may or may not want that. I am giving it a try. I didn't expect any sonic effect from the new nut. The new strings I put on along with the new nut probably far outweigh any effect of the nut.I am undecided whether to keep this one, go back to the original, or find or make something else. That wider spacing brings the E and e strings closer to the edge of the fretboard. That could be a problem for a player who bends the strings. For me, it's a matter of whether the wider spacing proves to be more or less comfortable than the original spacing. The nut slots needed quite a bit of filing to bring the strings close to the frets. This is not unusual. I recently bought a set of nut files and took care of that.Update: I installed the saddle. Its length and thickness are a good fit. It is a lot taller than the one that was in the guitar. The string heights needed a lot of filing and sanding to provide good action. That, too, is to be expected. The heights, from E to e, were .120, .105, .096, .087, .088 and .077 inches. That is a much wider range than optimum. .094 to .078 is an oft-suggested range, but I and many like it a bit lower .077 at the e is about right for me, but the max at E should be around .094 or less, with fairly even steps along the way to height at e. So lots of filing and sanding were needed at the top of the saddle to get the string heights in range and avoid lowering that .077 any more.It is to be expected that a saddle will need a little or even a lot of adjustment to do justice to the guitar and the player.
