I got the 5-piece funnel set because that seemed like enough for my purposes. I am not a mechanic but I occasionally top off fluids or pour liquid from a large container and need to control the flow. Unfortunately, the large funnel which would have been good for topping off automotive fluids comes with an incredibly thin plastic hose that does not inspire confidence. The other funnels in the set are OK for non-commercial use, but the plastic seems somewhat brittle.

I have to admit, I mainly got this funnel set with food use in mind... Already I've used the largest red one to help me pour homemade fruit syrup into a bottle with a narrow opening. I just washed it out really well. The smaller ones will be perfect for funneling ground spices and the like into smaller vials. As for the large one specifically made for oil, I'm sure my husband will get use out of it at some point -- probably something any handyman should have in his arsenal. The price doesn't seem too high to me, even though they are just cheap plastic funnels. I'm sure they'll last indefinitely as long as you don't accidentally melt one.

I keep one in the car a couple in the garage and a few in the kitchen cupboard. You need to just throw away a dirty funnel every once in a while. Plenty of variety to use in almost any occasion. cheap plastic funnels. It's the variety that counts

As the title states this is a nice cheap funnel set. It is made to a price point and should give decent life with occasional light use. The variety of sizes/styles is sufficient to meet most needs. These would not hold up to daily use but are good for the home shop.
