I got this when I started using Arduino boards, but I have not found it particularly valuable in my projects. However, I accept that my needs may not match the needs of others, and I wouldn't want to dissuade others from using this.It is a well designed accessory that does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is simple to use and the price point is reasonable. I didn't drop it a star, but given the price of other similar products, it may be just a bit high for what you get. I would recommend doing a little research to make sure you are getting the best breakout board for your needs.

This unit adds a terminal breakout board for accessing Arduino pins. Using a breakout board provides a secure way to attach wires to the Arduino when the project is subject to vibration and heavy use. The terminals accommodate up to 18 AWG wires.Things I like: Easy to assemble. The standoffs and nuts are tiny and easy to lose, but two extra nuts, two extra long standoffs, and two extra short standoffs are included in case you lose one. As a minor bonus, the standoff posts that screw into the bottom provide nice little 6 mm feet for the Arduino. The posts rigidly attach the breakout module to the Arduino so they can't wiggle apart. The pins are clearly marked and easy to read.Things I don't like: nothing really - it's a well-designed quality part.Other things: The terminal screws are very tiny, measuring about 1.5 mm across. A tiny flat blade screwdriver is included, but you can probably use a screwdriver from an eyeglass kit. If you're interested in an alternative solution, search Amazon for "DIN rail mount breakout module for Arduino." These are much bigger and of course more expensive.Bottom line: except for being a little pricey, I like this module. I won't need it for most of my projects, which are just fine using jumper wires and a breadboard. But this will be perfect for when I'm trying to build something more permanent and robust.

As a 76-year-old hobbyist navigating the world of Arduino Uno R3 boards and flight simulator upgrades, I recently stumbled upon a game-changer for my projects – the Terminal Strips by CZH-Labs. Let me share my experience with this fantastic addition to my electronic toolkit.First and foremost, the terminal strips are exceptionally well-made, providing a sturdy foundation for my wiring endeavors. The inclusion of all necessary hardware eliminated the need for scavenging around for additional components, streamlining the setup process. One of the highlights of these terminal strips is their compatibility with a range of wire gauges. I've experimented with 18 AWG, 20 AWG, and 24 AWG wires, and everything fits like a glove. The versatility in wire compatibility adds a layer of convenience, allowing for various applications in my projects.Mounting the strips onto my Arduino Uno R3 board was a breeze, and the process went smoothly once everything was in place. However, I must admit that, given my 76-year-old eyesight, the screw slots proved to be just out of my focal range. Thankfully, the handy little screwdriver included in the package came to the rescue, enabling me to navigate and tighten the screws by feel.As a seasoned hobbyist, I truly appreciate products that make my projects more manageable. These terminal strips have not only organized my work area but have also enhanced the overall efficiency of my testing and wiring processes. Once mounted onto the board, my focus shifted solely to wiring and testing, eliminating unnecessary distractions. While I may need a bit more time to complete my current project, these terminal strips have undeniably expedited the configuration process for the half already completed. They've proven to be a valuable asset in my pursuit of electronic excellence. In conclusion, for enthusiasts like me who revel in the world of electronics and Arduino projects, these Terminal Strips are a must-have. They have undoubtedly made my projects smoother, more organized, and have reignited the joy of tinkering. Kudos to the creators for delivering a product that caters to hobbyists of all ages and skill levels. Highly recommended!

Aunque la devolví , está bien practica pero para el montaje que tengo tenía que extender algunos cables y decidí dejar todo como lo tengo , pero si en un futuro decido cambiarlo todo , la compraré .

I really like these terminal blocks. They give you a nice easy way to attach wires to your Arduino GPIO pins. I only needed one of them for my project, and the other one wouldn't fit on my relay board, but it's no fault of the terminal block, it's the relay board blocks off where the last 2 pins should go with its own relay connection block. I could cut off the pins if I really wanted to install one on top of a relay board on that side, but I don't need any connections there, so I decided to save it for another project. I also haven't installed the stand offs and screws yet, because the pins on the relay board are too short and I needed to put extensions in to prevent the relay board from shorting out on the Ethernet connector, so now I need some custom standoffs to make it work. Again, it's not any issue with this product, it's the relay board with the issues. It does work well enough on my workbech without the standoffs.

Totally my fault, I didn't pay enough attention to the description and went by the photos assuming the plastic standoffs and screwdriver were normal size. The standoffs shown in the ad are like half size and that screwdriver is less than 2 inches long. The screw terminals are extremely small, too small for my intended use, I doubt that you could get anything larger than a jumper wire inserted and even then I would not have any confidence that the wire would be held securely. The photo shows a normal 3mm standoff, a standard size small screwdriver, and a competitor's screw shield which has pretty small screw terminals itself. I give it 3 stars because it seems fairly well made and it might work fine for somebody else.
