My new horse arrived and was fine, after about 8 weeks he started scratching and rubbing. Had him checked and allergies was his problem. I was so hopeful that this worked. I been giving it to him as directed for 5 weeks now and no change and no help at all.

I've been using this for several years. My mare has pretty severe allergies & also suffers from dry skin due to having equine Cushings. I use it in conjunction with over the counter allergy pills as recommended by my vet. It smells "fishy" so my girl will not take it just sprinkled on her food, so I put it in a bolus, moisten it, and shoot it back in her cheek so she can't spit it out. She is a mini, so it lasts me longer than it would with a bigger horse. It's also much less expensive than a product originally recommended by my vet. We went over ingredient lists and could find no difference.

Our horse has season allergies and gets sweet itch on her stomach from bugs. This really helped as she had very few if any reactions this summer to the bugs. We use it each year starting in the spring through the summer.
