These are nice, heavy duty plastic, and oversized enough to easily fit over the mattress. It doesn't create an air tight seal if that's what you're looking for. It's like an envelope, there's adhesive on a flap so you tuck it over the edge. But for moving and basement storage I think it's perfectly suited.

Made it easy to move a mattress, a futon, and springs. Just buy the size that you need. The plastic is very heavy-duty and the pleats make it easy to slip it onto the mattress properly, even if you are working by yourself. Once you've moved, save it for the next move, or use it as a drop cloth or floor protector. Very versatile.

We need to transport a full mattress on top of the car on the highway, and I wanted something that would be thick enough that it wouldn't flap in the breeze or have a risk of tearing. This product is very good, much thicker and stronger than I expected, easily stood up to being on top of roof rack, we even strapped bed frames on top of it and no tears or punctures. Makes it easy to move the mattress as well. Excellent.

Great cover...ample room to get mattress in easily and has a great double sealing design. It made the 16 hr trip with no tears and opened easily. No water got inside although there was alot of rain the first day and some stuff got wet when I opened the door but mattress was completely dry when opened.

I have moved a lot in the course of my life and career, so I have used many different mattress bags. This one is the best of all those I have used! A lot of others are much bigger than the mattress they're meant for, so you end up rolling up the excess and trying to tape it out of the way. This one, however, was much closer to the size of the mattress, which made it easier to get on the mattress. I also loved the flap and adhesive strips, which I haven't encountered on other bags. The little tutorial page that's included is also very helpful. This bag made the usually frustrating task of wrapping the mattress very easy, and the plastic is quite heavy duty and sturdy. Great product!

We purchased 2; one for the mattress and one for the box spring that we needed to store. It’s quite thick and sturdy and should do the job adequately. It slipped onto the mattress pretty easily, but the rough edge of the old box spring made a tiny tear in the cover as we pulled it on that. It’s more the fault of the user not being more careful than a problem with the cover.

This mattress cover is very thick and feels like it will be very durable. We bought it to store my daughter's full size boxspring so that it stays clean and dust-free.The fit is nice, and actually is a little bit bigger than I thought it would be. I thought it would fit tightly to the mattress, but there is a good bit of extra room around the sides and ends. Maybe that's because we're wrapping a box spring as opposed to a mattress, but I would think the fit would be the same either way.The sealing strips at the top fold of the cover are nice, but the ends will still allow access to stink bugs and other critters who might want to get into the bag, so I sealed everything up tightly with packing tape. I will also wrap the edges with cardboard since we'll be storing it in a basement with concrete flooring. I wouldn't say this is necessary, but in case we move it at any point and drag it on the floor, I don't want any potential tears in the plastic.Overall, it's a great quality cover that I would recommend.
