Hammer body ware is out of business. Found these and love the fit and feel. My knee pads stay in place and work perfectly with fit guy shin guards.Got a battle scare to prove the protection is good.

These allow you to get the bar a bit closer to your legs and even fully grazing your shins without scraping your skin. Once you experience being able to adjust your force inward more, it provides the sensitivity and confidence to get that much closer to your shins without them.Combined with some well-placed knee wraps to protect the knee caps if needed while making adjustments, they are good for trying to hone your form.

The product itself seems like a great idea and made with sturdy materials, but the bar gets caught on the top of the shin guard and pulls the entire sleeve down on every rep, negating its purpose. Maybe it doesn’t fit well on females? I could not get the top of the sleeve to fit flush with my leg so it kept getting caught by the bar.

I am not a bodybuilder or a power lifter. I am just a 6’1” 230 pound guy trying to stay healthy. I love the product for protecting my shins during dead lifting. My only complaint is the middle strap barely makes it around my calves. The company needs to seriously consider a larger option. Other than that I am very pleased. Let me know when it’s available.

I had been gouging and scraping my legs for years when I saw someone using a pair of guards in the gym. I checked with my Federation to make sure they were legal for competition and bought them. They come with hook and loop fasteners for the strips on the front so that when those strips are worn out, you can replace them with the extra strips that are included. These take some alignment when you put them on so that the bar knurling strikes the stips, but that is simple to do. I like these guards. I won't acquire any new scars now.

There is no Company in South Africa that sells decent shin guards. I do not have particular big calves, and this fits me perfectly and does the job they are designed for! I use these for All my CrossFit lifts and they hold up great, and can be easily removed if once you are done with them, and also be put on easy for when you have to use them. no need to remove your shoes, just remember to fasten the middle strap first. great product.
