These have been such a lifesaver!!! I have used them twice now since purchasing. I make my own Greek yogurt weekly by the gallon so I bought two of these. They seem to be made of good quality. I was worried about that because they were half the price of other brands and had zero reviews. Before this I was using cheese cloth! This just makes it feel like you are skipping a step because it’s sooo much easier and cleaner of a process. They were really easy to clean. I would be a little careful about pushing too hard on the filter when cleaning because the screen feels like it could push through if you aren’t careful with that. I would not hesitate to buy another one if needed.

I used to make homemade yogurt according to the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD). When I wanted to drip the yogurt, I put a coffee filter into a strainer and placed them over a bowl, then covered it with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge. I could only drip a small amount at a time. Fast forward to now... I have started making my own yogurt again but I'm living with my parents as their caregiver and don't have my kitchen tools so I looked for options and found this strainer.It's quite large and easy-to-use. I was able to fit my entire jar of yogurt into this strainer. I also love that it can be washed in the dishwasher.The lid snaps on very nicely so I felt confident that it was secure. Removing the lid, however, was nearly impossible. I started lifting one edge, then moved around to the next corner and heard the first corner snap back in place. I started over and each time I thought I was about to get the lid off, it would snap back in place. I really hope over time with more use that the lid will be easier to remove. That is my only complaint about this product.For the price ($21.99 at the time of this review) is good for this product. While you can strain yogurt for less, this is a quality product with a lifetime warranty that makes straining yogurt much easier than my previous method.

This Greek yogurt strainer has been a great addition to my kitchen. I've been wanting to make my own yogurt for a while now, and this strainer makes the process incredibly simple. I just pour my yogurt into the strainer, let it sit for a few hours, and voilà – I have thick, creamy Greek yogurt.The fine mesh strainer does a great job of removing the whey, resulting in a thicker and more protein-rich yogurt than store-bought varieties. I also appreciate that it's BPA-free and dishwasher safe, making it easy to clean.  The 2.3-quart capacity is perfect for my needs, and the strainer itself is sturdy and well-made. It's also very versatile, as I've used it to strain other things like nut milk and homemade cheese.The only minor downside is that it can take a few hours for the yogurt to strain completely, but it's a minor inconvenience compared to the delicious and healthy homemade yogurt I get as a result.Overall, I'm very happy with this yogurt strainer. It's easy to use, well-made, and produces delicious, healthy yogurt. If you're looking for a way to make your own yogurt at home, I'd highly recommend it.

Seriously love the strainer. Seriously hate how hard it is to remove the lid…ouch! Still give it 5 stars though because it really works perfectly otherwise!

if you were looking into making your own yogurt, this is a great separator after you get it out of the instant pot. We have a dairy we get raw milk and cook it up. We were using cheesecloth, but this is a game changer! If you’re looking to simply things, look no further! This is definitely a cost-effective way to make yogurt. I wasn’t even looking for one of these, but when I came across it, I couldn’t resist trying it!I believe if you get this item, you will not be disappointed, it is pretty straightforward and exactly as the item is posted.Here is my honest opinion on this item:Excellent - If I absolutely love the product and it exceeds my expectation, I will actively suggest the product to my friends and would purchase it again myself as needed.Less than Excellent - I really like this item and it does what the seller claims it would do. I would more than likely recommend it to someone if I knew they were looking for that product.Sub Standard- This item is standard and for the most part does exactly what they say it does, but I would specify any differences. There may be things about a three star rating that I don’t like about the product. If I knew someone were looking for that specific item and I recommend it to them, I would also share with them the reservations that I have.Not so great - I take low ratings seriously. I also take seriously issues with items after you have spent good money on them. Nice size. Holds a full 2+ quarts, unlike most others which can't handle even one, despite what they claim. Also, this one is dishwasher safe. My previous one warped on the top rack, no-heat dry. I've had good experience with this brand's products and support. Lifetime warranty.
