Works pretty well, except for wheels infrequently falling off.

This kayak stand works pretty well. It definitely wasn’t as easy to use as the beach as I hoped it would be, but it’s fine on solid ground.

I have a 13’ sit on top kayak. The strap does a poor job holding the dolly to the kayak and my kayak falls off when placing it on either end while I push the kayak into the water. It has a tendency to fall apart. Maybe it will work better if I put it in the middle, but so far, not impressed.

Very easy to assemble and breaks down quickly without tools into a very manageable/stow-able item. It makes getting our canoe from store room to car and car to lake much easier, especially for one person.

This cart looks just like the popular C-Tug cart and seems to function the same as well. The box for this cart clearly says it's made in China and the wheels have the “Ulticor” brand molded into them. So, I'd call this a competing product to the C-Tug.The cart disassembles into several smaller pieces that can be fit into many kayak hatches. I grabbed a picture from the manufacturer's video to show the pieces. Be advised, though, that the wheels are just over 10 inches in diameter (around 10-3/16”), so they will not quite fit into a 10 inch round hatch. The cart is straightforward to assemble, but it is a little hard to snap the pieces together, especially the two green pivoting pads. You feel as if you have to apply too much force but then discover that the cart is very heavily built and you can use as much force as needed to snap it together. Once assembled, the cart is very solid and sturdy. I tested it with an 18 foot touring kayak and the cart strapped in place very securely. And, the kayak in question has very deep vee to the hull, and the pivoting pads on this cart could handle that perfectly. The adjustable kickstand also works well, but it's only meant to be strong enough to hold the empty cart upright. Another nice feature is that the hollow, plastic wheels have a thin rubber tread attached (glued?) to the outside. That makes for a lot quieter rolling on pavement.Overall, this is an excellent cart and gets a five star rating from me. However, there are a couple of minor negatives to note – not enough to reduce the rating but should be noted. One is that only a single strap is included. You have to feed the strap through slots on each side and then feed the end of the strap through the cam buckle. It's a bit inconvenient. A two-sided strap with a snap buckle in the middle would be nicer. Also, I weighed the cart at 10 lbs which is fairly heavy. On the flip side though, you can distribute the pieces between your kayaks forward and rear hatches to distribute the weight. And, one last small issue is that the spring-loaded nut that controls how firmly the kickstand snaps into the different positions was tightened down hard when I received the cart, making the kickstand impossible to move. I had to use a wrench to back the nut off to the correct position.

There is zero reason for these tires to able to come off once assembled. The hole point of these tires is to go in the water and be able to pull them off without worrying they might come off. It happens effortlessly the very first time I used them i wqs dragging the yak because one tire came off upon submerging them to place them. Then the second time i lost one at sea just from normal kayak movement and I was unable to save it as it bust sank right away. Not worth the aggravation believe me.

Tires are great.Folds easily.Fits into smaller space than most othersNot fragile and works with all my boats from canoe to 20.5" wide uber fast boat.Won't scratch boat as no cheap foam that will eventually deteriorate.Aggressive price for what you get. There are less $ options for sure, but will they fit into your front hatch? Probably not. My last carrier fit in rear hatch of one kayak but not 2 others. Also tube tires drag in sand(this one does great in sand even with my 85lb boat loaded with gear. Ever try to get tube out of those small tires? It can be done but I don't recommend it.Now the issues.I don't like the one way strap. It works well but I prefer ratchet straps as that's what I already use to strap boats down and I know it won't move if I hit a curb off angle. I tied a strap to each side & issue fixed.I adjusted kickstand so it doesn't sit flat when resting. Kickstand was hitting ground sometimes as I don't always pull, sometimes I push and having kickstand higher in air while walking I found necessary.Last issue. I found wheel lock mechanism never had issues while on boats, but when handling they flip easily allowing wheel to fall off while grabbing it from back seat or just walking with it in my hand.I put a pin in meckinism to keep tab from flipping until I want it to.Now this best boat carrier I've had so far and there have been many. Also no rust is a +. Previous carts had steel pins keeping wheels on that rust. All my minor issues were easily remedied so no complaints 100% would recommend.

I've never seen the higher priced versions up close, but the execution and finish on this product seems fine. Works great. Moves Kayaks. Cost less.
