These do not fit .5mL or larger microcentrifuge tubes at all. The lid won't close over them and they are popping out of the little holes. These only fit .1mL and .2mL microcentrifuge tubes and have clearly been listed with the wrong information. They are an otherwise nice, well-built product if used with .1mL or .2mL tubes, which I luckily also use, but don't buy these if you're looking for something to hold anything larger!
