The DJI handle included with the RS4 does not have any accessory mounting features, so you have to look to third-party handles if you need to mount a light, monitor, or other accessories using a cold shoe or threaded hole. The Ulanzi is the better of two different non-DJI handles that I have tested. The NATO clamp is well-designed and tightens without resorting to the use of a movable saddle on the female dovetail which can misalign when tightening.Like the original DJI handle the Ulanzi's cog teeth for locking the handle angle are a little on the coarse side, limiting the fineness of discrete angle steps. However for conventional handle positions this is not a problem at all.A simple but smart feature is the addition of a preload spring under the handle's angle adjustment screw that eliminates the need to hold the joint together as you tighten the locking lever. The spring allows you to click the handle to position and it remains there on its own while you tighten the screw lever.Everything is cosmetically and mechanically perfect and overall this appears to be a high quality accessory. If I have one minor complaint it is that the handle grip could be just a bit longer. I use this accessory handle at the same time along with the original handle on both NATO mounts to provide a choice of stabilization grips either in front of and behind the camera gimbal. The front handle is set at an acute angle pointing almost to the base of the battery/handle, and with the Ulanzi handle set at this sharp angle my left thumb won't quite fit on the grip and must extend up over the hinged joint. I can prevent this by using the DJI handle on the front (it is longer) with the Ulanzi in the conventional rear position.Nicely made and not very expensive given the quality. Recommended.

As is expected with ULANZI, this is a well made piece of gear to attach to your gimbal. There's really not much to it, but using something like this makes using your gimbal down low, or for extended periods of time, much easier. I own a few other things from ULANZI and their stuff is always solid, well-made, and priced fairly. I am just getting into using gimbals, so I can't go more into detail with my review. From a newbie viewpoint, this thing is super useful.

I needed an extra handle for my ronin RS2. I did buy an exertion arm but it’ll need to use the small tripod base as the handle. But with this Ulanzi arm I don’t need to use the tripod base anymore. The handgrip is adjustable with the thumb screw which is nice. Overall I’m happy with it.

I do not have DJI gimbals, but I ordered this adjustable sling handgrip handle, because I thought that I might use it for the Zhiyun gimbals I have. This handle is attached to the DJI gimbal through NATO mount. What it needs is a quick-release NATO rail. Let me make one. I attached a short (about 60mm or so) quick release NATO rail to the handle. Now, I can use 1/4"-20 screws on the rail to install the handle to my gimbals, though I need some additional adaptors to make it fit. I successfully installed this adjustable sling handgrip handle to the bottom of the Zhiyun Weebill 3E. It works somewhat like the original Zhiyun attachment. So, I will be able to hold the Weebill 3E with two hands. It is not perfect, but at least it shows it can be done.

The ULANZI Adjustable Sling Handgrip is an excellent addition to any gimbal setup. I’m using it with my DJI RS 3 Mini, and it has significantly improved my shooting experience, especially for low-angle shots and extended use. The ergonomic design, rubberized grip, and solid construction make it both comfortable and reliable. The NATO clamp is well-designed, ensuring a secure fit without misalignment issues, and the preload spring under the angle adjustment screw is a genius touch—it makes repositioning the handle effortless. I also appreciate the thoughtful design that allows easy access to the DJI gimbal screen, even with the handle attached. While the handle is slightly shorter than some others, the longer rear arm provides excellent clearance, making it perfect for mounting accessories like field monitors. ULANZI consistently delivers high-quality, well-priced gear, and this handle is no exception. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their gimbal workflow!

It's a beautifully manufactured gimbal handle with a lot of great features and one shortcoming compared to competing gimbal handles.Everything about it screams professional product and it's very secure and stable with a great NATO clamp that's rock solid when clamped down. What I don't like is the size of the hand grip; it's too small in circumference - requiring your fingers to be wrapped around it further whereby you have to squeeze a little harder to get a firm grip. Competing handgrips from Neewer and Smallrig are thicker - providing a more secure grip.I'm sure most people won't mind the grip on this Ulanzi but if you were to hold the other brands in your hand and compare it to the Ulanzi, you'll understand what I mean about the thicker handle being better and more comfortable to hold.
