I used the cables to run wires through the wall for my wall-mounted TV, and it worked great! The length was perfect for hiding the cables, and the heavy-duty construction gives me confidence in its durability. Overall, a fantastic choice for anyone looking to tidy up their entertainment setup!

Great value for price. Bought these to add a plug in tail to my Ring camera. Inexpensive enough to destroy to make a plug-in for an otherwise hard-wired device. I was able to drill a small hole through the siding and mount the floodlight camera exactly where I wanted it without having unsightly cords coming out of it. This will also work as a regular extension cord too!

These are for that one cord that is either pulled too tight or just not long enough. They work great although I wish they were a thicker gauge but that's ok at this price so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for this reason. Overall value is good and they seem durable so for the most part, they are worth the price. I haven't used them in any harsh environments so I don't know how they'd hold up to real abuse.

The Cable Matters 2-Pack 16 AWG Heavy Duty Power Extension Cord has proven to be a reliable and practical addition to my home and office setups. With its sturdy construction and UL listing, it offers both safety and versatility, making it an excellent choice for extending the reach of power cords. The 16 AWG heavy-duty wire gauge ensures that this power extension cord can handle high power loads without overheating or compromising safety. I've used it to extend power connections for various electronic devices, including computers, monitors, printers, and other peripherals, and it has performed flawlessly. The 6-foot length of the extension cord provides ample reach, allowing me to position devices farther from the power outlet without any inconvenience. The NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 5-15R connectors are compatible with most standard household and office power outlets, making it a versatile solution for various applications.I particularly appreciate the UL listing, which provides peace of mind knowing that the extension cord meets strict safety standards and has undergone rigorous testing. This feature is crucial for me, especially when dealing with valuable electronic equipment. The durable and thick insulation of the cable adds to its overall quality. It resists wear and tear, and the connectors fit snugly without any loose connections. Additionally, the extension cord is resistant to tangles, making it easy to store when not in use.Another advantage of the 2-pack option is that it provides excellent value for the price. Having two extension cords has proven to be more useful than I initially anticipated. I've used them in different locations, which has saved me from having to constantly move the extension cord around. The only minor drawback I've noticed is that the 16 AWG wire gauge makes the cord a bit stiff compared to lighter gauge cords. However, this rigidity is a small trade-off for the enhanced durability and power capacity it offers. In conclusion, the cord is a reliable and versatile solution for extending power connections in both home and office environments. Its heavy-duty construction, UL listing, and 6-foot length make it ideal for various applications. I highly recommend this product for anyone in need of a dependable power extension cord that ensures safety and convenience for their electronic devices.

It's a thick black cable... very durable. Maybe even too durable... It's about 1cm in diameter and barely fits under the door.

Very nice cables: seemingly very well-built, solid, reliable, and with connectors/ends that are very well-shaped to make nice seams in your power chain. These are obviously as well-built as any such cable. There's not much to say about a simple thing like a power cable like this, but the price was great when I bought them, and I can't imagine any other similar product could be any better than these “Cable Matters” products (I also have a lot of other types of cables made/distributed by Cable Matters, and none have failed me yet). One thing that might help as you’re shopping for power cables is that I discovered that by looking at all of the options (different lengths, and especially different packaging such as single cable vs. 2-pack vs. 4-pack, or whatever) really helped me to get a great value. I recommend being flexible about the length, since sometimes (in my experience, at least), I’ve found that I intended to buy cables of a specific length, but discovered such a great deal on cables of a different length that would still do the job (including in many cases, buying longer ones than I first intended), I got a much better deal and still got everything I needed. It’s strange, but sometimes longer cables cost less than shorter ones, and if you buy cables longer than you need now, you’ll be more prepared for different, unpredictable future scenarios in which you might have different cable length needs. And if shorter ones are very much discounted on sale, you might save a lot of money buying shorter ones and using them in a chain. These cables fit very snugly into each other, making a two-cable connection not a bad idea if it ends up saving you a significant amount of money in the end.I expect you'd also be very happy buying these: I'd recommend then highly to any close friend or relative (and I do so to you, too).
