My sound card has been crackling for a year and was getting so bad I finally decided I couldn't live with it any more. Tried a Sabrent USB audio in/out but it was real finicky about the 1/8th connector, Worked.and sounded good if it was just right, but that was iffy. I returned it and bought this thing. My teeth nearly fell out of my head! How did I get 15" woofers in my headphones?!? Totally shocked by how good it sounds. TonyBraxton's "Unbreak My Heart" has some of the best bass out there and this adapter rose to the occasion.Super happy with my purchase.

I now know why it does not come with any warranty - it breaks. When it was operable, I was satisfied with its performance

Would definitely recommend. The short cable is just enough so that the cable comes out of the mess of other USB-connectors and USB-dongles, so that you can easily unplug and re-plug a different 3.5 connector. There doesn't seem to be any noticeable noise or anything, seems to work perfectly. Auto-detected in Windows, driver installed automatically within seconds.

comme idiqué : le microphone fonctionne uniquement sur la prise jack TRRS (4 pôles). Un test rapide avec un jack stéréo avec 2 micro electret m'a indiqué que cela ne fonctionnait pas. Bizarre (?)

UGREEN never disappoints!I had bought another brand 3.55mm mic to USB audio adapter and it didn't work at all. Was not even recognized by the system at all (even in the USB system report on macOS)Once I saw that UGREEN has one, I knew I could trust it, as I've used many UGREEN products in the psat and they always work perfectly. If you're looking to connect a lapel mic to your PC or Mac then do not look further than this UGREEN product.I know I've already said UGREEN like 3 times (this is the 4th actually) and this sounds like an ad, but I'm a musician and audio engineer / audiophile who has to hook up analogue equipment to various products that are not properly shielded/have loads of electrical interference.. I know it can be a huge nightmare of massive hums and pops, hisses and HORRIBLE quality audio. You get none of that with this, which is great.

This product works well. Plug it in to the computer, plug in the speaker, enjoy the sound. My onboard audio jack was being way too quiet due to a driver or bios issue and I could not figure out why. I bought this to bypass the issue entirely and now my speakers are back to a normal volume range. Haven't noticed sound quality issues. Great price for a simple solution.

Purchased this because I have 2 sound outputs but did not want to use my front panel. Quality is good and the sound quality is as good as built in sound. The PC reads the bitrate at 24 bit - 96 khz as advertised.

I bought this for my Raspberry Pi, which has subpar built in audio. It works great, easy to configure, and sounds really good. I can also see using this with a laptop that has a worn headphone jack, as often happens over time. Another use would be where you want multiple separate sound channels, perhaps to separate input and output for realtime audio processing.

The audio from my son's 4-pole headset wasn't working, specifically his mic was coming in at -54 dB, when connected to his PC (case or mobo audio). Through my research it seems to be a prevalent problem with ASUS motherboards going back to 2013 and platform agnostic (AMD or Intel). Upon finding this adapter, I bought it as a possible solution and it worked!Complete plug and play: open up the package, connect to the headphone 3.5mm jack, plug into PC. Bam microphone could be heard at full volume, which was the issue when connecting his gaming headset normally.Bottom line, if you are having audio issues or you have a 4-pole, trrs, 3.5mm jack and your device you're trying to use your headset on doesn't but does have USB, give this a go.

I have a Bose QC 35 II Gaming headset, and the removable boom microphone's TRRS jack isn't recognized by my work laptop or personal laptop but is recognized by some of my other PCs.I didn't want to have to bring the headset's control unit (which is bulky and heavy for what it is) in my bag or use Bluetooth (can't use the boom microphone except with the wire), so I bought this adapter, hoping it would solve my issue.'Lo and behold, it works perfectly. I can now use my headset wired to any PC via USB-A and leave my headset's control unit at home. If you need USB-C connectivity you'll need to provide your own adapter, or buy a headset to USB-C adapter. The sound quality in and out sounded good when I made a test call on Teams. If you just need it as a "sound card" substitute, I imagine that it will be just fine.Overall the unit is pretty nice. It feels solid in hand, and the cable has a nicely braided sheath.
