Durable, yes! But not a good solution for headphones. The surface is rough and as you move around, you unfortunately hear the cord rubbing against other hard surfaces.

Does the job, the aluminum mesh cause noise when rubing each other if cable twisted

I have a Phonak hearing aid that I pair via Bluetooth to an associated device called a TV Connector, that allows me to listen privately thru my television's 5.1 sound system receiver (Denon) and my Yamaha P515 digital piano. The TV Connector has a 3.5mm audio input, while the receiver and piano both have only the 1/4" input. This UGreen cable has a better, snug connection than using a 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter with a 3.5mm cable. It has a good solid-built quality that should last for years.

This cable is amazing for its cost, I wasn't expecting this much quality for its price. Initially I only bought one since I didn't know if the quality is up to its claims. The "sleeves" of this cable is very durable, but because of its durability it can be a little bit rigid at times. Which is a good thing for most people but can be a nuisance in terms of cable management. Compared to what I had before, this one is recognizable on motherboard's I/O. I even tried this one on a piano keyboard and directly plugged it in to one of the input ports of the motherboard and it works without any buzzing noise unlike with the ones I had before.Overall, a great cable that's why I bought two more for my setup.

We use headphones for the living room television and needed a 6.35mm to 3.5mm cable. We were using adapters but they wear out and get crackly from all the small twist that happen with the cable from constant use. This cable solved that issue. The connectors are good quality and the sound is clean and crisp. The material is very durable and I feel this will last a long time for us.The price is perfect for this cable. Certain retail stores, that will not be named, can keep their overly expensive cables.

I have a high end audio system that I mostly listen to music with the speakers. On occasion I use my headphones. The problem with my phones is the cord is only 4 feet. I have been looking for a cord like this for awhile. Most are 3.5mm plugs on both ends and require an adapter to go to 1/4". I'm a firm believer in the less adapters etc. used the better the sound quality. This cable is perfect since it is 3.5mm on one end and 1/4" on the other. The sound is good and they appear to be well made. I went with the 10' length and that's fine for my needs.I couldn't justify $300 for pure copper cable for my limited usage so this cable was a surprise at this price!I would recommend it highly

APPLICATION: In-home SE connection of 3.5mm jack headphone to 6.8mm jack integrated amps, headphone amps, SACD players, and tape/CD recorders. EQUIPMENT: Fostex T50RPMKIII headphone, and 8 different items of audio equipment with SE TRS phono outputs. FIT: Secure connection on 3.5mm end and solid, flawless connectivity with audio equipment. CABLE FEATURES: Sturdy, attractive, well-terminated, and robust outer nylon/plastic mesh. SOUND: Surprisingly realistic and non-fatiguing. The bass is at the forefront but not booming, and vocals and instruments are well defined but melodic and contribute to a seamless presentation of the music. Of special note is an unexpected and revealing extraction of vocal passages (like breathing and whispering by accompanying musicians) reminiscent of what one might expect from Sennheiser, Cardas, Grado, and boutique headphone cables. BOTTOM LINE: After cleaning the connectors with Kontak (to ensure previous manufacture and handling residue was removed), I was stunned with the wonderful sounds flowing from equipment into my headphones. This included classical, rock/pop, and soundtracks recorded on SACD, CD, tape, vinyl, and radio. As an enthusiastic music lover, I did not expect to be wowed by an $18 cable in a 15 foot length. The folks at UGreen earned a solid "A" on this purchase for the product, packaging, and timely delivery courtesy of Amazon fulfillment. I plan on sampling other UGreen audio products in the future. As trite as it may sound, I must say: "This is the real deal!"
