Great repair for an old Sears one and a half ton floor. Jack model number 328.12001 color green. My jack would pump up just fine but it wouldn’t hold the load. It would come down slowly. I had no external leakage. It turned out the seal was bad. In the photos you can tell the nice, beautiful, new seal and the old black seal with chips out of it, and corroded and ripped up after 40 years. The old seal had turned brittle.Buy with confidence, if you have the same, same problem, I did. If you have external leakage, you might as well get the whole bigger rebuild, kit, which comes with this internal seal and all the o-rings and seals seals not too hard to do but you will need a big wrench with a breaker bar or a socket of size 2 3/16 inches and a breaker bar or a pipe wrench but pipe wrench can put marks on the big nut.
