About half the thickness of pads previously rented from UHaul or supplied by movers. However they will provide scratch protection and can be doubled up for more protection.

Pads did great. When we are done moving will donate to shelters. Only problem we had was delivery left boxes in drive and did not bring up stairs to porch. Boxes were heavy and although I mentioned to Amazon they did nothing and the second shipment was again left on the drive. Otherwise. Good product for the price.

I purchase a lot of moving pads since I have a little Etsy shop that I make guinea pig cages liners. I have purchased better ones from Uhaul if you want real good thickness and protection and absorbency, I have purchased thinner ones through Amazon and the price was good. These are in between not too heavy not too thin. Will do the job for moving and will do the job for what I need them for. Will purchase again.

I have ordered hundreds of these moving blankets from them and they have always arrived in good condition with no chemical smell. In the beginning of 2023 I stocked up so I wouldn’t have to purchase any all year. Well the time has come to rebuy and when I did I was so disappointed. The quality of the new blankets is horrible. They are so thin and they SMELL LIKE GASOLINE. Once I opened them up i immediately got a headache and I had to put them outside. I got a refund and I threw the blankets away because I was not going to put them in my car to return them. These blankets used to be a nice dark grey and were pretty thick. Now the new blankets are so thin and are made with tinsel scraps it seems. And the smell is so horrible. It seems that they have changed manufacturers and it shows. Horrible quality and horrible smell. Do not buy!

I am super happy with these blankets. Sure they might not be as thick as Uhaul blankets, but I like that because they are easier to work with!! A little softer too!! Very happy with them.

I bought these for moving across the country. They kept my antique furniture safe from harm. There was only one scratch...but that was my fault for not covering it well. Wrap and tape well.

My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw the pile of blankets I got in this order. Although they’re all dark gray, some had green flecks, some had white flecks, and some had red flecks, which added to the beauty of our packing. And soft? They pad like the dickens! Nary a scratch.

I just moved across the country and decided to purchase blankets vs renting from U-Haul as I wanted items wrapped and ready before the moving truck came. They are a bit on the smaller side for some larger items, but using 2 wasn't a problem (and the dimensions are on the listing so I knew ahead of time). They are durable and held up well. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because some of the material tore or came up when removing packing tape at my destination. A minor issue all in all.
